Shame some people feel the need to snipe rather than just enjoying the moment.

Shame some people feel the need to snipe rather than just enjoying the moment. Oh shush. To be fair I think he may have been refering to the person that looks like they created an account just to have a dig at the people that have critisised Corey in the past. Maybe not. In answer to that. He deserved a lot of the stick he has had in the past. Some he didn't. Today he is king after delivering another first for British Hockey at the helm of the Panthers. Deserves all the credit he gets fo this. Fantastic acheivement. Lets just all enjoy it for what is. Bask in the glory and look forward and hope for more. And if people can have a tongue in cheek dig at Iginla along the way then it's all part of the fun. 😁

Fantastic today. Fantastic in not just the result, but how the team achieved the result. I was massively looking forward to Thursday before, but now I cannot wait.
There is much promise in this team.

I'm incredibly excited for this season. Last season left a bad taste in my mouth but I really think we'll climb to the top this year.

i think we are missing Brisebois. Is he injured? I see that the same 20 players iced as the first game. Only Brisebois, Hazledine, Kelsall and Tetlow having missed both thus far. Assume that's right.

I like CN's honesty regarding refs in his post match interview. Will he get penalised for this?

Is this the biggest upset in CHL history? No... Bolzano of Italy beat Pardubice which was a bit upset as they only threw the team together about 2 weeks before the season. Other than that, you had a Norwegian team with several part-time players beaten Geneve-Servette and Sparta Prague away, they got to the Last 16 before going out to one of the Finnish sides, but took out Salzburg on the way too.

Great win for team however not the first by a EIHL team, Braehead did that 2yrs ago vs Ingolstead. Maybe the first win on the road
