Anyone thinking of travelling down to Cardiff for this fixture be aware that Morrisons have withdrawn the offer of free parking to hockey fans. They have said they plan to enforce parking restrictions this year which will cause chaos for hockey fans at IAW. There is limited parking in the area.I'd plan to arrive at least an hour before face off.

Then come out in the interval and go buy another one ? 😀

There's discussion about the parking near IAW on this thread on the Inferno forum, and some advice (on page 3 of the thread, I think) on where to park... Tesco seems to be one suggestion:- <link to Inferno>Hope this helps...

Think Gascon took a bit of a knock last night so not surprised - also glad to see giving Gospel a run out - Cory letting the young Brits have a bit of ice time - cannot do them any harm, provided Devils do not play stupid

Brisebois isn't playing either, not off to a good start Jeez it all sounds a bit of a bloody farce ! 🙄 As thebestpanthers mentioned, Gagnon took a heavy knock to the back of his head/neck so that's probably his reason and I think Brisebois blocked a shot with his foot last night in the 1st or 2nd period, hobbled off but saw the game out, guess that's his reason too. Despite those incidents, thought they both played well last night, hopefully it's just a case of no point risking them further and let them rest. Must've been some sort of agreement in place this weekend, Devils play Murdy in Nottingham, Bowns in Cardiff, we play Garnett in Nottingham, Gospel in Cardiff.

Take it Devils are full strength? Sounds like it, haven't seen anything on Hotham besides the Devils PR earlier in the week and Lord is playing, obviously. 14 imports for Devils, 8 for Panthers (2 D, 5 F, 1 G)

I couldn't see the knock Gagnon took last night so I can't comment whether it's a head/ neck injury or not. However when he got back to the bench he was walking or should I say limping up and down at the edge of the bench for a good few minutes. As such was clear he had suffered a leg injury of some sort in the incident. Hopefully as you say Panthers are just resting them. Would be stupid to risk further injury in a challenge game. Especially when we've got a long season ahead.

The knock he took is on the highlights, it looks like he was in a fair bit of pain.

Without seeing the game I'm guessing Gospel played well and the team put in an improved performance.

Great result on the face of it. Outnumbered and with a back up in goal and away from home.

Gagnon didn't play tonight. Thought we looked on top until our legs went due to the short bench.
Cardiff really did scrape by us with an almost full squad.
