Personally I would not stay in Coventry for a second longer than I had to - hate the city, hate the low income people and hate the Ice Dome - so as you can guess I will not be attending - especially as we are playing rubbish at the moment (add all season to that, except Europe of course) I'll probably go, and come the final buzzer, I'll no doubt be full of incandescent rage, wishing I had not gone in the first place. Hope you managed to miss it Shin.

I finished late, thankfully; made the decision to drive home to Calverton as opposed to going to Skydome. A sensible choice by the looks of it...
Can we just forfeit our remaining fixtures & get this horror show of a season consigned to the record books?

This team lacks passion, lacks spirit, lacks pride. I don't care if it was a 'nothing to play for' game - how about playing to make us fans proud of you? And how are you going to raise your game to beat (probably) Steelers and get us to the Playoffs?
Right now you are just not good enough, and as a fan I am angry, not proud!

Last game for me this season will be the March midweek game against Manchester. Thank the hockey Gods!
I very much want this roster liquidated.

If you really aren't interested and don't care about supporting the team then why do you still come on here? If you really weren't bothered you'd have nothing to do with the club, take no interest, this is why I think you will be back, because your still interested

it's disgusting really, fair enough weve not much to play for, but people are paying hard earned money to watch this, they should be at least trying to earn theirs Get used to it. Thats how its going to be until the playoff quarter final.... Put on a show at home....or at least try to. And if a miricle occurs we may actually score more than 3 goals. Whilst at away games there will be zero effort as its only a minority of fans who will see it so the players and management wont care and wont affect gates at the home games. All of a sudden once playoff quarter final comes around all players will give maximum effort....but this will come to nothing as we are nowhere near anywhere as good to get through given the way the league standings currently are......

Totally gutless performance tonight. Nobody left with any credit. No one ever steps up, they are barely going through the motions. Steve Lee was man of the match......He was awful.

A Blaze fan perspective, not to gloat (god knows I've got nothing to gloat about), just to offer a view from the other side as it were
Probably the most mundane performance from a Panthers team that I can recall. Pacl wasn't great but had precious little in front of him to help him out. Farmer, Nikofuruk, Lawrence and Spang all played with commitment I thought. Sertich (who I do rate) started brightly but looked to fade as the lack of effort from other players became apparent. Waugh, Brown, the new guy (Sarkanis?) and Schultz looked, both well off the pace, and in some cases, completely uninterested in being there.
Neilson made no adjustments whatsoever that I saw - just stood and watched impassively as his side sank slowly and surely, no line tweaks, no time out, he just stood there and watched. Can't believe that this will help Pacl's confidence any.
Bit surprised at Lee getting mom, I thought Nikofuruk or Lawrence for me. I know Lawrence has a tendency to drift in and out of games but I thought he played tonight with real focus and to boot he seemed to put in a lot of ice time
There was a sizeable Panthers support and they deserved better than they were given by a squad that should be able to beat Coventry (be it home or away) day in, day out. If I were to point a finger, I'd say Neilson did nothing to turn around an unmotivated team.
Meant as a genuine perspective of Panthers tonight, hope it doesn't across as anything but that

Always good to get an opposition view. Neilson isn't a motivator, Cam put the fire in the belly last season and there's been players like Fox and Richardson in the past to name a just a few who have done it in previous seasons. What I'd give to see a Bruce Richardson Panthers team. Coventry's saving grace is their Goalie, when he's hot he's fantastic and tonight after the early goal against he was brilliant. Pacl isn't quite good enough, id like to see him go and be a starter elsewhere for 3-4 years where he gets trained specially by a goalie coach and then return and be here for a number of years like we had will Kwall. Back to tonight's game from seeing bits and following online it sounds like another lazy lack lustre panthers performance. When's McG going to forget what Corey says and start being this superstar fighting enforcer we signed. Try and spark a game with a big hit or just get in people's faces and make them hate being against you

This is typical Neilson, stands there with his hands in his pockets and doesn't believe it's his job to motivate players. The other day we had a bad first period and he said afterwards,he had to wait for the first interval to change it......why wait, what's wrong with on the hoof during the game ? He also said recently, after we had just lost 6 out of 7 games "I like the direction we're going"......🙄 Doh The man needs to go and so next year do a lot of this team !

Better than our own Nottingham fan base making disturbing quotes such as not liking people as they are on a 'low income'... ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ?? EDIT: Apparently the term 'low income' was a 'changed quote' I notice (after I wrote this above), so your covered tiktak on anything you say ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) .

Going through the motions is what this team is good at, and as you say, Neilson did nothing to change it. Our approach play tonight was metronomic in it's variety. The Blaze worked it out and stopped us with ease.
