His right leg is clearly inside the crease and he's right in front of the guy when Farmer shoots. That's a better angle than the webcast but I still struggle to see how it justifies the goal being disallowed. He isn't completely in the crease and is being pushed in and doesn't obstruct the netminder's movement, plenty of goals have been allowed with a player further in the crease than one leg.

Wonder if Odense will suddenly encounter penalty trouble.

now now girls OD 2-0 up!!!!!! 33mins gone I know this is early. Long way to go but I hope this goes Panthers way....void of Domestic success ( league) thus far with no apparent chance to win the league. I'd not want us to do so well and miss out. Fingers crossed....so lets get on the same side here. Come on Panthers

I think we might be over hitting passes and clearences next week. The ice appears dreadful. Think they must be having to put an extra 50% on everything they are trying to play.
Good result against a decent team and a woeful refing performance. Really should have been in regulation.
Fairly sure slightly passing through the crease for half a second doesn't constitute a man in the crease.

Fair point on seeing them given NYR, but if it were at the other end would we/Miika be happy about it? As I said, I can see why it wasn't given, I don't think it's an unreasonable call to be made (and the ref sees the lot in a split second, of course).

I only saw the webcast view before I watched the highlights (didn't realise it was a different angle) so can see your point now. I would see the slight annoyance but I wouldn't get too hung up on it if it was against Wiikman.

What has me absolutely beat is why the finals are even being held there. Seen more people at a Caps pre-season game

Apparently a chance Nikiforuk back in for tomorrow. Attempting to get him a flight in the morning. It would be a big help especially with Schultz probably out. Although for me something a pro sportsman should've been looking to do anyway. Happy for him to come home for birth/see his newborn. Should be there tomorrow.

Seen more people at a Caps pre-season game From what I understand; We wanted to host this stage however the Arena was booked for stage however it was booked for another event. We tried to get that event moved to another date and tried to get the dates for this stage moved but we couldn't, Ritten was available, so here we are. Hopefully stage dates can be more flexible next time, so the Arena best suited to holding a final round gets to hold it

1 point away from history. It's going to feel like a long day up to tomorrow. This team has been criticised, it's been on a huge losing streak and made us question our commintment to this club but they could go down as one of the biggest sucess stories of British hockey.

Tonights game finished 4-1. Considering how bad the officiating was for us today hard to believe Ritten have only managed an OT win so far.
Play to win tomorrow, but with solid D as priority.

Hockey could have had a showpiece and us supporting and selling it to the World......will have to remember this when IIHF want us for some reason and we'd have to tell them we'll ring em back once we've checked our diary.

Was it the IIHF refusing to move it, or one of the other clubs (Ritten, for instance)?
It is a shame, would've been nice to experience some of it. It's not quite the same when you have no involvement.

Very interesting now, three teams can still win it. Who do we want to win the first game tomorrow though ?
Because....if Odense beat the Kazaks in regulation, that means Ritten can't win it anymore and have nothing to play for. We would still only need a point though to win the cup.

Looking at that table. It could hurt if Odense win and we lose. If Odense win and we lose. Plus if Odense lose and we do.... But for that waved goal.
Good luck Nottingham.

Odense win and we lose tomorrow. That would mean we lose a trophy to a team we played twice and beat twice.......OUCH ! 😩

Hockey could have had a showpiece and us supporting and selling it to the World......will have to remember this when IIHF want us for some reason and we'd have to tell them we'll ring em back once we've checked our diary. As entertaining as it may be to stick out our lower lip and pout, the simple fact of the matter is - the IIHF set a date for the final well in advance, and it's not their problem or their fault that our arena already had an event booked for then. Actually, it's not the fault of the NIC or the Panthers either - just plain old bad luck. Don't get me wrong - I would have loved to have us host it. And yes, it would have been a much better experience (and money-maker) if the final would have been held here. But it's more than a little unreasonable to expect the other 3 finalists to change their own domestic schedules (as well as our own). Stuff happens, as they say - we just have to suck it up and move on. Remember - life's a <female dog> and the universe doesn't a <solid excretia>.

What time GMT does Sunday's game against Ritten face off ? This thread game header says 6pm but Panthers webcast says 7pm. I'm pretty sure it's 6, 7 Italy time. It's GMT at 6pm Yotes. It was Panthers O/s webcast item that had got it wrong (again).....Oooops ! They've changed it now. Good job they read the Cage eh 😉 Lol
