I think panthers will be lucky to win 1 game!! Same was said last time. I think our import heavy roster gives us the advantage tbh, I can see us winning it.

Not a chance. We should have signed a top end d man. Discipline will be key. Got to put in 3 near perfect performances as well

There's every chance. It's not like this is 3 teams who are another level up again, as it used to be. We won our qualifying semi-final round, no reason we can't do the same here.

Yes both with concussion, I can only think that David is relapsing as he was supposed to be back for the Dundee match. Geoff was hoping to be back for Ritten but he told us at the quiz night that it was a bad concussion and the initial contact was not his head but the base of his spine and how he landed. I was thinking today when Waugh would be back in the line up; needs to recuperate properly if it's a concussion.

Don't forget though, whilst Waugh could play Conti cup,he can't play a league game without dropping another import !

Nikiforuk out as he has travelled back to Nottingham due to the birth of his child. Fair enough reason for leave but leaves us weaker for the weekend.

I said a couple of weeks ago I wonder if he would actually travel as his wife was due around the same time. Fantastic news for him a big loss for us but for the right reasons. We'll just have to win it for him now. MInd you I wonder if he actually managed to get out of Italy? alot of our fans are stranded as their plane was diverted and they now won't make todays game.

Congratulations to the Nikiforuks, entirely understandable, but will be a loss this weekend.

Just heard from the fans in Ritten that the Panthers fans have all been crowded into one corner because the arena think they may start fighting and apparently there are lots of police at the arena..... What the hell do they think we are.

What the hell do they think we are. Unfortunately the reputation of English football fans has a lot to do with that. Although it isn't uncommon for trouble to happen at European hockey games either.

What the hell do they think we are. If true, you can blame the good old game of Soccerball for the stereotype, though the Italians tend to be some of the more aggravating set of fans in that. Hopefully GM see's it all and goes about confronting the Ritten GM or Rink Manager to sort it out.

Have to say that the webcast (picture) is excellent I must admit i was a bit sceptical when they said they were doing a webcast but it is very good and has replays 👍 well done panthers. Good period for panthers too albeit no goals scored. 😃
