8th, so Gary can go on about being the lowest ranked team in the competition when we win it (at home) again.

We could get to 68 points. Bearing in mind the Panthers still have to play Belfast 3 times, and Sheffield once, in our last 10 matches. Are we seriously going to either match or surpass, last seasons dire 62 points total.

Elite League seem to have 1 more point for Coventry than you do, so depending on which is right I think they could both go to 45 points if they win out.

Congrats to Panthers 2016/2017 roster, on possibly achieving, at best 60 points. LESS than last years pile of poo 62 points. I don't know how you've done it, but WELL DONE.

Sorry if this has already been pointed out, and for hijacking the stat thread. I have just looked at the league tables for the past seven seasons, including this one. In reference to how many points we have lost the league by. With the obvious exception of season 2012/2013.
2010/2011: 15 points 2011/2012: 15 points 2012/2013: won it 2013/2014: 32 points 2014/2015: 9 points 2015/2016: 10 points 2016/2017: 19 or 19+ points (assuming we get to 60, see above post)
Total: 100 or 100+ points Brilliant isn't it.

Finishing at home with a double loss before our last away game in Manchester whom we lost against recently. At least before todays game we knew we would have won at least more than we had lost this season BUT sadly I don't believe the goals tally will be a PLUS on the goals difference after that last game.
All updated.

Thanks for keeping these stats coming all season Spik. Not pretty reading this year but that's not your fault.
Could you tell me when was the last time we finished a league campaign with a negative goal difference?

Sorry that league completion is not sorted as yet, due to work dates.....I will check on the goal difference ASAP but to tell the truth I can't remember it ever happening for a long while.

Hunt Simon 1249 Waghorn Graham 1035 Clarke David 828 Neilson Corey 813 Nieckar Barry 797
notes
CLARKE did move above STRONGMAN (into 5th place) in assists this last season. Also up to fifth in Points ,now above KURTENBACH. Not far behind STRONGMAN in both goals and points..
TWO more seasons for CLARKE may take him over WEBER for apperances but has he that time or will he even play on ice again? Goals and Points are the other two improvements he could make in that time also.

Apologies....I have had to make an alteration as I forgot to add the Continental Cup stats onto player totals. This paints another picture as David Clarke not only improves but IS in the top five for points now as opposed to being just behing Terry Kurtenbach.

Points off the league leaders in the last 4 seasons:
2013/2014 32 points 2014/2015 9 points 2015/2016 10 points 2016/2017 23 points
Total: 74 points
Unless we win the league, and lets face it, with the people in charge, highly unlikely. How bad could this look over 5 seasons?
2017/2018 ? points
Total: ? points

That's a shocking record.....how is Neilson still in a job !

Sorry for the amount of information. I have looked at the last 10 seasons looking at all four of the teams, that will be in our conference next season. I looked at all of the teams, and the points behind the league winners, they became.
My point is relevant, as it may show how OTHER teams, that want success, react to FAILURE.
Please note Coventry, who won 2 leagues, not included in below.
TEAM: BEL CAR SHE PAN
2016/2017 7 WON 8 23 2015/2016 6 2 WON 10 2014/2015 14 2 WON 9 2013/2014 WON 37 23 32 2012/2013 6 35 12 WON 2011/2012 WON 21 11 15 2010/2011 1 0 WON 15 2009/2010 1 11 21 6 2008/2009 15 26 WON 11 2007/2008 16 29 6 15
