Welcome to the Cage Forum!
GOLDEN RULE: You agree to take full responsibility for your comments, even in the case of legal proceedings as a result of your comments.
1) Keep the bad language and innuendo to a minimum.
2) If you disagree with a post, attack the content rather than the author. We're all grown-ups, show proper respect to other posters.
3) We operate zero tolerance on 'Trolling', ie comments not helpful to the debate but made in order to provoke an adverse reaction from other posters.
4) Ask a moderator first if you wish to plug your site.
5) Views expressed on the forum are solely those of the poster, and no other person or party.
6) No text talk. We're not using Nokia 3210's here, this is a place for intelligent debate and we ask all posters to write conventionally. Same rule applies to unnecessary ! or ? in thread titles.
7) Avoid duplicating threads where possible. If there's already a thread running with the topic on which you want to post, use that instead of starting a new thread.
8) If you disagree with an moderator's decision then take it up with them privately. We're only human.
9) No reproduction of copyrighted photography of Ice hockey players/action to be posted on the Cage without prior permission from Karl Denham or Panthers management.
10) Persistent obnoxious behaviour can lead to a suspension or a ban from the forum. It will only be invoked as a result of a majority decision by the forum moderators.
Your posting on this forum indicates that you have read and agree to the above ...
To contact the moderating team, PM Dan, Shaggy, Yotes, David or Pies.
Happy posting!
For the avoidance of any doubt - these rules apply to the Personal Messaging system too. Sending abuse via PM will not be tolerated.

Respect for each other
The light touch moderation we’ve always tried to employ has, unfortunately, led to an all too common lack of respect being shown for other posters in recent times. To this end, the rules are now going to be enforced by immediate bans rather than warnings. When banned, the user’s account will be deactivated and they will not be able to post or send private messages, although they will be able to read the forum. The length of the ban will range from a day to permanent, will be decided by the moderator, and will be based on the offence in question as well as the user’s prior conduct. The forum rules haven’t changed for a long time, but they are always available here and all users should be aware of what they've agreed to abide by. The rules will be applied evenly, to all users. Retaliating to another post will not be seen as an excuse, please allow the moderators to act on posts that break the rules. Rule broken? Report it
To report a post, please see this information from Proboards. Although it may take time for the moderators to see the report and act on it, all reports are viewed and actioned and we will always endeavour to inform you of the outcome. Fed up with another poster? Ignore them
You don't have to read everything. The forum allows you to maintain your own Block list, this will prevent you seeing the content posted by those users. For information on how to do that, see this information from Proboards. If anyone requires any help with any of the above, please contact one or more of the moderators. Thanks to all of you for your cooperation with this issue. We do not want to stop debate, there will always be positive and negative views and we're not all going to agree all the time, but we should all be able to discuss these points without making the forum unwelcoming to any posters.

Disabled AccountsWhen trying to login with a disabled account, you will arrive at the forum in Guest mode. You will technically be logged in at this point, but clicking to login again will show you your disabled account, and when the ban will expire. For example:
