We've got a poll running on Twitter for Panthers fans regarding webcasts. The question is If Panthers did a webcast would you still go to the game if you could or watch the webcast? We'd really appreciate it if you could follow the link and vote as we're discussing it when we record this weeks show tomorrow. Many thanks Link to Twitter poll

We're recording this week's podcast tonight, so once again we're asking if you have any questions for us that you'd like us to discuss for #AskTCW, please post them in this thread.

Do you know how much money that the clubs get for each webcast? I seem to remember someone (I think it was hull) saying that they only got pennies per feed (again I seem to remember 50p). If that's the case I understand the reluctance financially to do a cast, I still think that they should do one as a courtesy for fan who cannot make the match.

What sort of "extras" would you like to see brought in/returned as part of the POFW? NB - simply stating "get rid of the 3rd/4th place match" doesn't count as an answer!

I enjoy our match night presentation but what do you think would improve it, if anything?
Edited so that the question reads better

What do you think would improve the Panthers match night? Exactly how long do you think the TCW Podcast is?

I think the intro wouldn't be as bad if we had a decent screen to view it on. At the very least the yellow jerseys wouldn't look like steeler jerseys :/

I think our match night presentation is fine* apart from the Intro video which is shockingly bad. I cannot believe that we are now in November and nothing has been done about it. I like the music but can no longer bring myself to watch those orange shirts followed by a few shots of David Clarke walking down the tunnel. *Provided that GM is kept as far away from the mike as possible! Stef and Ken do a very good job and make it look easy which I'm sure it isn't.

After a massive support period 1980 to around three years ago, I can't get to games. So having a webcast would enable me to see games at a cheaper cost in my home, to the clubs advantage of an income not expected from me.

Lots to get through on this weeks edition of the The Cat's Whiskers Podcast with Tina Taylor, Andy Haywood, Aaron Lord & me. We cover Nottingham Panthers victories against Edinburgh Capitals and a crazy game against the Sheffield Steelers along with fans thoughts on the game. We look at the rest of the EIHL news including the latest round of DOPS bans before answering some of your #AskTCW questions and discussing our webcast poll. Finally we are joined by Patrick Smyth from A View From The Bridge to look ahead to Panthers v Belfast Giants this coming Saturday. Download or stream from the link below. A Game of Two Halves

If the Panthers were to make a further signing, what sort of player would you like to see brought in and why?

Why have Panthers not signed any replacements ?
Why have we got this ridiculous schedule of away games from now until Xmas ?
Why do we always seem to be in Sheffield on Boxing Day ?

always sunny.... Do you believe we can go the rest of the season with the player personnel currently Do you believe that our league position in the table is misleading as we have played the majority of games at home and so far our away form has not been good. Do you believe the reason we havent signed the full compliment of imports is purely down to cash or is there any other reason it could be i.e. IF we hadnt had such good home form so far would we have brought in replacements as previous years. And finally do you think the panthers arent doing all they can to win the league and handing an advantage to our competitors who have started the season with "spare" imports and replacing injured players when the panthers clearly arent engaging in this...

Hi all! Podcast recording is happening on Wednesday this week, does anyone have any #AskTCW questions they would like us to discuss? Sorry, 1st time I've posted on here so I'm not too sure if I'm too late or not to ask a question. I just wanted to ask if there are any plans to have more interviews with Panthers players? I really enjoyed the one the other week with Neilson but there haven't been any since. Sorry, I've only been watching sice the start of the season & didn't know the Cat's Whisker existed or here existed until the other week so I'mm not sure if thats the sort of thing that you normally do. I've seen some things like View From a Bridge(?) have lots of Giants players on& wondered if most podcasts do.

We're chock full of content once again this week on The Cat's Whiskers Podcast as Tina Taylor, Andy Haywood & me start by looking back on a magnificent game of hockey between Nottingham Panthers & Belfast Giants. We look at the news around the EIHL including the compensation offered to Steelers fans after their game in Belfast was cancelled, plus we'll also ask if EIHL & Sheffield Steelers chairman Tony Smith's position is untenable after he asked for Belfast to forfeit the two points to Sheffield. New media consultant to the EIHL Seth Bennett joins is to talk about his new role with the league, the sheffield compensation issue and the Steelers v Panthers game on Sunday. We answer your #AskTCW questions before finishing with a look ahead to Panthers games this coming weekend. Download or stream from the link below. wp.me/P6zbpB-cV

The whole Belfast / steelers thing it totally paradoxical. Tony smith using his conflict of interest to complain about Belfast Giants conflict of interest. I feel sorry for the Sheffield fans to be let down with 2 days notice is bad but the compensation arranged by the Giants has been more than fair and its credit to the Giants as they didn't have to do anything. Let's not forget a bit of history here. The elite league allowed the Giants to be sold to a dubious character then allowed them to set up a new team mid season without points penalty, now the league chairman is complaining about the actions of the owners they rushed in? Also Sheffield Steelers, the org which goes bust every other season owing money, without penalty, complaining about people being left out of pocket? To ask for 2 points is cloud cuckoo land and does make smiths duel role untenable. I imagine the vote was 9-1 against, no sorry 8-2, I forgot about thommos conflict of interest. Looking forward to tcw asking some tough questions, I imagine an interview with '2 point tony' would be TV gold.

FWIW it's not just TCW that get's no support from the club, it's anything that the club doesn't do themselves.
It's a shame really...you only have to look at the support other clubs give their fan projects to realise we're really only bothered about ourselves. (e.g. Official accounts advertising twitter updates by fans at the games).

As I said on the podcast the thing that gets me is we are not even dignified with a reply to our emails requesting a player for interview. Even if they replied saying no that would be better than just ignoring us. It is especially annoying as other EIHL teams have openly embraced fan podcasts and score updates, namely Belfast, Braehead & Manchester.
