Why does the Evening Post now only contain basic write ups about Panthers games, almost copied and pasted from the club website, with very few different articles or interviews of any interest ?

Quite simply who does the panel think is the better player/more effective? Lepine or Gagnon ? Good one. I've started to think about the very same thing recently. Plenty of players doing their jobs well. Gagnon is up there with one of our best pick ups. Early on there was a concern he may be a bit of a lose cannon. That one is all but put to bed for me(Can imagine he may have the odd momment but he appears to have good control overall). He polices game fantasticly and certainly deserves his spot on the team as a Dman alone. At this stage it's hard to decide if either is more effective but i'd certainly have them on par so far.

Are the team worried that the Defence and Brits have scored more goals (35), than the import forwards(25). Do we need a sniper for the tight games.

Are the steelers having a similar season to the Panthers last year? Flashes of brilliance but not consistent, high turnover of players but seemingly doing okay in Europe was a theme we experienced last season?

How do the panel think that more Panthers fans could be encouraged to attend Nottingham Lions games? - bearing in mind the Lions have very few resources (people, money, etc) and can't expect any help from other organisations in Nottingham, mentioning no names *cough* *cough*. We know that the Lions have already helped in the development of a few Panthers players, and could potentially do a lot more if they had more support... so how can this be helped along?

Question for Jono if he is on and answering questions
From the friendship 4 tournament you covered, did you by any chance notice Providence #10 Scott Conway. Brett Perlini's cousin and by my reckoning having played for the Nottingham Cougars in 07/08 eligible for "brit" status? if so how did he do? another potential gem to pick up for some team somewhere along the line.

Leave your questions on this thread (as John Casey already has) for the panel and we’ll get the ball rolling as usual at 8.45pm tomorrow. A question directly for Rob: After the Fretter incident, the takeover of DOPS by Lyle Seitz and Co led to a much improved write-up/ video process. In the last few days, what personnel change has occurred on the website-team, that has led to these bizarre and quite frankly childish recent news articles? Calling players "gutless" and "an embarassment" is highly unprofessional media output from the Elite League. Additionally, personal comments such as "Rosehill must learn to control his emotions" are quite frankly cringeworthy.

I think he played in one of my first junior games as a goal judge. I forget the details now, it was probably 12 years ago. It was certainly a relative of Kevin Conway. In an 11-0 victory he got 10+1.
