You never know, they might be waiting for Lawrence to make up his mind

Lawrence P 61 PTS 63 to many PIM at 135 but 9 PPG and 2 SHG these stats are nearly as good as Colton Fretter And he was 1 they resign early, 64 min more than Fretter in the box, lazy at times but a great shot why not take him back?

It's not all about stats. His attitude stank and I personally would be appalled if we signed him again.

If Lawrence re-signs we may as well bring back the likes of Zion, D'Amour, Champagne, etc. That way I can request a refund of my season ticket and take the year off.

I saw Lawrence play at the BBT at the back end of last year and he was immense. I was convinced that it was a different player. Chased everything, hit like a train and was a REAL impact player. I think that was his last ever game for us?

As much as I wasn't a fan of him was surprised to not see him against Coventry in playoffs - unless it was Corey's way of trying to get him fired up for finals weekend although kind of back fired as didn't even make it

As has been said in many threads and posts - the problem with Lawrence was you just did not know which player was going to turn up (just like a number of players last season) - it was like having a team of clones - on some days he hit like a train, others, my Budgie has hit harder - maybe with a team of grafters behind him he would "turn-up" more often, at least we know he "CAN" do it when he wants - may be worth another season but think Cory may have bigger plans, time will tell

Lawrence injured himself against Cardif, and was not fit for the Coventry games.
Probably not used to checking more than once a game led to him pulling a muscle.

I once mentioned Haydar (minor league legend, perennial AHL top scorer and some time NHLer) to GM the GM. He had no idea who he was.

Could it be Krog who Corey wants to build his team around. Certainly has huge pedigree and excellent scoring throughout his career

He is 39, but his points per game are very impressive, in a good league, for a pensioner. PPG better than Jeff Ulmer in that league last year.

I rated Bob Wren until he ran into injury issues too Mann was 32 when he played for us, so hardly an 'older player' really. Think kingmonkeybutt was more of the meaning of players being a lot older than that, which your next choice in Wren fits the bill, sadly he would go into the marmite section for me though, which I daren't participate in.
