Surprised nobody has posted this already but yesterday, Former Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers and Stanley Cup Finalist, Steve Montador has passed away aged 35. He was found unresponsive in his home in Ontario but later pronounced dead.
In 2012, Montador suffered a season-ending concussion as well as having to deal with mental illness for some time, somthing which he did publically speak about.
The police say that Montador's death hasn't yet been determined but there were no visable signs of it being suicide.
A sad day for hockey, a former NHL Veteran of over 500 games, someone who worked as hard as he could to stay in shape, taken at the age of just 35.
