Seriously if i had the funds id be flying over to see these 2 games and perhaps the AHL game too.
For Stevie to committ on top of his GM duties for Tampa and Team Canada is awesome. Just look at our line up we have , some of my fav players and i was fortunate enough to see in the flesh in their prime too . Hopefully PS will show the Alumni game as well as the Winter classic.
The classic will have 100k in attendance , the highest crowd ever for a hockey game

Must say, if the weather continues to be bad in the mid-west, I won't be relishing the four hour drive up the I-94. The current record attendance is 104,173, also set at the Big House.

Red Wings Alumni roster.
Its like a HHoF get together, I'd happily take many of them right now in place of the current Red Wings! Oh to have The Russian Five and The Grind Line in their peak right now, they'd take the league apart.
The Maple Leafs alumni list is equally stacked.

Totally agree, i hate how the current Redwings team are going , I was fortunate to have watched a few of those players mentioned above on the alumni roster play live back in their day. , and yes with a few months hard training would still do a job now especially the captain. , alot of the so called players of today wouldn t have lasted 5 minutes in the NHL in the mid 90`s when every game had excitment.
That Russian five were on a different level then when there was top players on most of the rosters unlike today. Lapointe, Shanny my Fav Doug Brown great to watch , even if you were down on your luck and losing games heavily with those on your team you never left early as you knew anything could happen
god i miss those days
Fans who have started watching it in recent years cause of PS etc have missed out big time
