Good Morning, We are considering opening up a new pub in the city centre, it has all the same features as a conventional pub, pub food, showing live sports, live entertainment nights etc, but it will have a distinct difference. We want to bring a concept to Nottingham whereby you have the beer taps on your table allowing you the novelty of being able to pour your own pint, this will help to reduce queue times when the pub is busy, you have a tab card to keep a track of how much you have spent and drunk. On each table there is an integrated iPad which allows you to buy spirits and mixers which can be bought to your table, you have the option to order food and even control the jukebox. We have developed a survey which has a couple of 100 respondents so far but we would really like the opinion of Nottingham Sports fans. I would really appreciate it if you could fill it in, it honestly only takes 2 minutes, or any feedback on this thread would be much appreciated. qtrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_1B5iU6OGJUVYSlTKind Regards theLandlord

I've completed the survey but the burning question I have is where in Nottingham City Centre is this bar likely to be located?

Hi Jono#72
Many thanks for completing the survey! Much appreciated.
We are currently viewing premises in the city centre area, predominantly on Upper Parliament Street. However I would be very interested to get your feedback on where you would like to see a bar like this located?
Thanks

Was in a few pubs in Ireland about 4 years ago, flopped, haven't seen it since.
EDIT: It still is in a few pubs on the isle, but the amount it used to be has dropped big style.
Doesn't work, and isn't worth the fuss, and you can bet it'll be something you don't like on tap!
Just hire more staff.

It could work well, but you would need to offer more than one beer/drink offering at each table
If you were going to do a sports bar with an ipad type thing at each table for ordering food, I would just have the ipad for ordering drinks as well, that way you can order them before you want them avoiding the queues at the same time. so if you have a table everything you want and that the venue sells can be ordered through the device at the table.
The beer wall for self serving could still be useful for when its busy but you would have to have some order around it when its busy otherwise you will just have people standing in front of it watching the football or what ever and no one would be able to get near it anyway.

Nothing will beat my idea for a bar, and nobody will hear about it until it's patented up the backside.
I've filled in your thing.
