sunbeam wheres the paranoia? Just a quick look over the past dozen or so stir reports on the steelers and the vast majority refer to nottingham in some way or other, where is that paranoia its just plain facts.... Just a quick last point if the highlights were provided by the publisher and not researched by the stir why in a week of little panthers news has not the evening post done a similar article then?? You seem to think that because it's a quiet week in Panthersland that Mick Holland will be allowed to submit copy of any old hockey story. I severely doubt the sport editor would be interested in a small reference about the Panthers by a man most Panthers fans wouldn't know from Adam. In a week when Notts have sacked their boss and speculation has surrounded the Forest manager somehow I don't think Tommo's book makes good copy. The Star was far more interested as their football clubs have not created such headline news and the claims against Christian would have appealed to the Star's sport editor. If Mick Holland has any interest in mentioning the book he'd probably post it in his column in tomorrow's Football Post. A column incidentally he regularly enjoys having little digs at them (to use his words) 'up the road'. Both journos know the first rule is to create stories that sell. Both do it quite well considering they are restricted due to the fact they cover a minority sport.

still doesnt justify a paranoid tab but hey lets forget it eh sunbeam. As for newsworthy stories got a point re: football and i am sure MH has better things to write about than a free advert for tommo... but as i said seems a nonsense story to fill column inches but they just had to get in a sideswipe at us not really necessary though was it?

Igor - we already know you are ignorant and blinkered - why keep insisting on proving it? All of our good prospects left? - ever hear of Paul Moran? - ask Furby, at least once his ears have stopped ringing..... not bad having a home-grown GB senior international, eh? Something you lot haven't been able to match, for all your posturing. How about Dan Scott? James Cooke and James Neil training with the team as well.... care to bet against them getting ice time down the line? And there are lots more..... We've got plenty of good prospects here in Nottingham, thanks. It's natural for players to move about, no? - and we've had plenty of service out of good ones from Nottingham, whether they've gone elsewhere or not..... Paul Moran, Marc Levers, Adam Radmall, Alan Levers, Dan Scott, Ashley Tait..... How many of similar calibre have Sheffield produced in the past 10 years? Oh yeah - Geoff Woolhouse - now playing for NOTTINGHAM. You beat me too it Shaggy However, I suspect Igor is being his usual self, ie being a troll. Quite ironic really given his username too. Either he's trolling or he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about

Either he's trolling or he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about I presume the forum rules about being offensive to other posters don't apply to Mods then? The irony (meant in a lighthearted way anyhow) was in Shaggy pointing out two players who left Nottingham to get a chance to play, then blasting Thommo for not giving them a chance to play... always someone else in the wrong, isn't it? Back on the topic that started all this - Christian may be no angel *unintentional pun* but there are dirtier players in the league, and you can bet Thompson would take Christian for his team anyday, as would most coaches in the league.

The irony (meant in a lighthearted way anyhow) was in Shaggy pointing out two players who left Nottingham to get a chance to play, then blasting Thommo for not giving them a chance to play... always someone else in the wrong, isn't it? Once again, Igor, you prove that you simply do not know what you are talking about...... Both Adam Radmall and Alan Levers left the Coventry Blaze after 2 seasons with that team to get more ice-time elsewhere. They were Coventry Blaze players in the FBNL and then the EIHL - and then moved 'down' a league or two to get more ice time. They did not leave Nottingham under the same circumstances, because they were players for the Nottingham Lions, not the Panthers. They never were Panthers players..... and both moved UP from the ENPL Lions to the FBNL Blaze. This is perfectly normal, as you are (or should be!) well aware.... there is not a place in any of the BNL/EIHL teams for every single player coming up through the junior ranks, as should be quite obvious. Do try to actually find out what the facts are before you start the snide little digs, eh?

Yep, thought so. Thanks for proving the point. And given this remark of yours... Yeah, all your good prospects left Nottingham... one of them is doing quite nicely up here in Sheffield though ....and the fact that aren't able to back up that absurd statement, just proves you are what I've labelled you. You know as well as anybody that your intention was to antagonise people on this forum, but Shaggy has shot you down better than I could so... Well done Shaggy
