I must say I'm enjoying an unexpected bonus at the moment. After four seasons where Panthers haven't had a defence worth the name suddenly I'm watching Ricci and McKenna playing D on the same line. Two really good Dmen, read the game brilliantly, stay disciplined and use the puck well. Both of them come to play everynight and seem to love playing the game. i agree about how good they are but have to say that rob stancok and eric charron were well worth the name. not to mention jimmy paek.

What are you saying?
You think he's being playing all season like he did last night.
Well I Don't and if you read my post I said he doesn't have to score goals, So what difference does his goal make?

He did OK. He is a much improved player now - we're begining to see his true potential. A nice finish for his goal again lastnight. He is something of a sniper. He thrives on having space to work in. The likes of Craighead and particularly McKenna can make him that space. His defensive awareness seems to have improved as well. Cheers MP

Panthers won 4-1 tonight, with goals from Craiger, Kalmikov, Wojciak & Krulis Shaun Maltby got Bison's lone marker Wojciak got MoM for Panthers So my prediction was right then?

Well said Wigwam, good to see someone batting on behalf of the team and saying exactly what I feel - but if I'd said it the 'freedom of speech' brigade would soon start whinging on about Admin impartiality etc etc ... Some of you need to think before you type and commit your comments to the forum. As for the comment regarding Daniel Scott and a lack of passion ... you are having a laugh aren't you? Maybe not his best game to date ... but he was doing lots right if you could be bothered to look past the fact that he fell on his assa couple of times. As for 'lack of passion' ... have a word with yourself, he's Panthers Passion personified. I know what you mean - that guy breathes passion for the panthers. So he fell over a few times...oooooh shoot him. For gods sake ( ) hes bound to have off days like the rest of the team are. Give him a break.

Quite right Kimberley, they were all good defencemen (not forgetting Bob Nordmark either). Yet despite the quality of those individual players we never had a sound defence whilst they were playing for us. The way Ricci, McKenna and Carlsson seem to be linking up is encouraging. With Ricci and McKenna playing together they really did seem to be in control of things in defence and both have a good eye for the transission into attack. A real pleasure to watch.

VERY rare my predictions are right - hahahahaha Would love to keep McKenna - absolute gem that one. Love his presence on ice, seems to be bringing so much to the team.
