My picks would be: Inside - Stiltskin (another one from the old barn) Come with me (Godzilla theme) For who the bell tolls - Metallica Blow your mind - lock'n'load Jailbreak - Thin Lizzy (live version)
Going back to the panther 'story' from the first year in the NIC, thought that was totally embarrassing and used to cringe every time it came on.

I was gonna ask the exact same question. Its the one just after Brainbug - Nightmare, its basically just a beat - but I really like it, sounds kinda intimidating! I also liked it when they played Queen - Don't Stop Me Now that really got me ready for a match!

I think Welcome to the Jungle is a great tune to play as we enter the ice, but also Enter Sandman and Hello (Its good to be back) by Oasis should also be played before entering rather than Zombie nation and that other stupid dance track. We Need New Rock Music For Match Nights!!
Iron Maiden AC/DC Metallica Guns 'N' Roses Led Zeppelin Black Sabbath Slipknot The Darkness The Who Oasis ETC ETC...

Well, if we're talking about trying something new..... my vote goes to either Iron Maiden's "The Phantom Of The Opera" (perfect for getting the adrenaline going) or AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" - listen to the start of that, and imagine the crowd clapping and chanting to that - perfect! They played Thunderstruck in France, if I remember correctly, and I think they might play it in Coventry (they play some AC/DC 'up there' too but let's not talk about them) Also Whole Lotta Rosie does get played a bit at the NIC but not often enough

Anyone actually know the answer to the original question? It's somewhere between "Nightmare" and "Zombie Nation".

It's the music in the game that really needs sorting. Cotton Eye Joe - whoa there. I think it was the London game where Dennis Maxwell got called up for Illegal equipment - they ended up playing almost the entire song. My brain nearly liquefied. And 'she's got legs' - who has? Can't quite work out if that's only played when someone has their legs taken from under them, or if it's random.

Don't they play some music from the Blade 2 Soundtrack? I'm sure thats whats after the Brainbug bit but not sure what it is called.
As for the into bit about panthers wasn't it kind of a Wild Life on One commentray about Panthers hunting in packs read out by Twiggy from Trent FM??

If rumours are to be believed... then the Country and western rammel is down to Mr Wood. Acording to my other half.... (she was quite good friends with Wood) he was asked what music he liked by the arena DJ. Being the joker that he is, he replyed "I love Country and western. I hide my Cowboy boots when the boys come round" I am fully behind the Welcome to the Jungle project. I do like the way that GM anounces the players onto the ice, but when he has finished that I do think that a little burst of Welcome to the Jungle, just before the national anthem would be spot on. Oh and I was under the belief that when we left the old barn, we left the organ aswell.....
