After watching four away games and all the home games so far this season we should now be worrying about our beloved team because after last night we are a team of individuals each going theirown way with little or no direction.

Not sure if that's the case, but then I've seen less games than you so what would I know? What does concern me is our record so far against Elite league opposition: Won: 2 Drawn: 2 Lost: 3 OT Loss 1 That's 7 points out of a possible 16. At the minute we are no better than a mid table elite league side, and my biggest concern is that we seem incapable of defending a lead and then killing teams off when we're in that position. To use that oft repeated quote: "Offense wins you games, defense wins you championships" And as in previous seasons, it's the defending of the whole team* thats let us down so far. Where would we be without Curtis Cruikshank? I dread to think *Ricci & Calle excepted

Krulis looks the kind of defenseman that isn't a regular, but the fact him being in you squad adds experience and a little bit of veteren savvy. But he takes too many dumb penalties IMO. Magdosko doesn't look bad, infact neither does Jan Krulis, but I think Magdosko needs to assert himself a bit more. I'm more worried about the fact we seem to be giving up goals late in the game, and it's an obvious problem. Late goal against Giants & one last night. No need to hit panic stations yet, but it's a cause for concern

7 away games and all the home matches for me You have a point ... when we're playing as a team we're AWESOME. Sadly there are times when we dont, we saw this early in the season and again this week ... We've all said how the captaincy has improved Calle's game ... time now for him to step up as Captain and get the troops told, they have to follow him as a cohesive unit. Hopefully the huge presence that is Steve McKenna will have a good effect on the rest of the guys and he can help Calle and Adey build the right kind of healthy team ethos. All IMHO as usual ...

Sounds like Adey is showing some Backbone at last. ;D Reading between the lines though, it sounds like he may be prepared to sledge a fans' favourite or two, along with the dodgy D-man. Hope you've all got a lot of patience, 'cos these things don't happen overnight.

Strikes me we're rudderless in more ways than one.
We don't seem to have a natural playmaker at the moment who can make the transision from defence to attack. Dave Struch did it so well when teamed up with PC Drouin and Mikko Koivunoro did it last season. Mikko didn't often catch the eye but was a very astute paaser of the puck.

Struch came in for a lot of stick last season, some fans claiming he was past it, but he was good at what he did, a fact that you astutely point out Steve.
