Well, the latest rumour to come out of the Locker room is that the reason we were c**p against Belfast is because we have something bordering on civil war going on in there. Apparantly, so-and-so aint talking to wassname, he only agreed to sign if thingy didn't. (but then he did) another guy hates his linemates because "they never give me the puck" Then we've got one guy who's too good to sign TEN sponsors T-Shirts, -he only gets paid to play Hockey, apparantly! Look on the bright side- McKenna's big enough to knock some sense into them all, (YES, all of 'em!) ..........Here's to a (very) long lockout!

i couldn't care less just as long as they keep on winning
plus i think McKenna will knock some sense into the wannabe NHL'ers when he gets here
but i am sure m,ost people see them in starbucks all chatting nicely, if they don't like each other they won't stay around each other.

another guy hates his linemates because "they never give me the puck" As I've stated before, something is going on with Ivan and Craighead. Craighead never passes to Ivan (I know he did on Tuesday, as he got the assist). This has been happening for the last few games. Other posters have said that either Craighead or Ivan have been trying to beat all the opposition by themselves. Neither one will pass the the other. Lets hope it gets sorted out soon...

exactly he wastes no end of chance by taking on too many players or having a shot when he should pass it.

Sounds like normal service has resumed.
Sign a team that looks by far the strongest in the league on paper and then fail to deliver.
It is one thing to battle your hearts out when you are underdogs in Europe but we need a few more troops and less chiefs, who will take responsablility in games we should we winning.
As for the main topic, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Too many egos in the team.

In reply to what you said Tim, about Ivan just taking on players and shooting, IMHO I believe that shooting will win matches. It is our lack of shooting (especially during powerplays) that we seem to lose matches. If Ivan does keep shooting, the law of averages will tell us that we will score sooner or later, however if we pass it around how are we going to score more goals than the opposition.
I do understand what your saying, he does always seem to have the puck when he's on the ice, but I think that we need at least one and no more than a couple of players who will do just that.
I did post on a previous thread at the beginning of the season (probably on page 39 now though) that Ivan and Tvrdon had fallen out on the ice because of a pass that never was. Its petty arguements like this that lose the games (as well as not scoring) we need the team to actually be a team, if we play like we did on Tuesday & Tonight (although I wasn't there I presume London were better as they won) we don't stand a chance against Sheffield on Sunday.

i guess you get that i mean shooting from pointless positions like from positions where you only score 5% of the time (although i know belfast goal when in from that area but that was just no paying attention properly.)
Even if ivan just passed it round the boards to a defenceman and let us set up a play and get them under presure it would be better and have more chance of getting a decnet shot away.
i can remember two occasions that he has had a shot and given up postion and put us under presure that we didn't need 1) where he shot it stright into a defenceman and gave up an odd man rush and 2) was on tuesday when he took a slapshot from an imposible angle and put us under presure as well.
I know that he ahs done it even more times than thatas well just can't remember them.

I dont think its as bad as that just yet but theres defo something in it. Ivan and JC have been put on the same line,IMO this is adeys way of saying look your playing together get on with it! See how we get on,most of the team get on ok tho I can tell you that much!

Is Adey in charge of the dressing room or is he taking orders from "the boss". If I recall, and correct me if I am wrong, Adey was not in the country when JC was signed on and he ended up with a" fete accompli" with regard to having this laxy disruptive individual on the bench. JC is not a team player, never was and never will be. His ego is twice as big as his affro hair style. It would appear big ego's are more destructive to the team than big stature.

Agreed BJ.
My aunty's freind who's brother's girlfreind is best frineds with the man who works in the NIC shop informs that..........
There is a sale on.
I don't trust it unless I am told by someone who is involved and then It is taken witha pinch of salt as it is there opinion on the situation.
Oh and by the way if I have 8 freinds, who all have eight diffrent friends, who all have eight diffrent freinds friends, who each in turn have eight diffrent freinds thats easily 4096 people. Someone amongst thet will be an "insider at the NIC"

My only concern is how well we play, not about "he said this" or "he did that". I like both Craiger and Ivan and believe them both to be good players for the club. If everyone liked the same things life would be boring and I can accept there are some people out there who do not share my views, but come on, give the guys a break, these are rumours thats all. Until I hear from the players, GM or Adey or (baldy/porno) PAWS its irrelevant. Surely these rumours could do more to harm the club than not.

And here's me thinking "thank goodness we've got a player who is willing to have a shot at goal"! I actually like Ivan, he seems to work hard and is willing to have a shot, but would not have played him on the same line with Craighead. Trouble is I can't quite figure out who I would put Craighead with to compliment his style of not playing, oops sorry, playing. Just a different take on the players. As for personality clashes, time Adey looked them square in the chest and told them to behave......

I heard before the season even started, that Cadotte was in talks with Adey about signing for us again, but he wouldnt be too happy about coming back if Craighead was to re-sign. This came from a reliable person who is close to Cadotte.
