from FB Posted by Sami Now its sure that I am not coming back next season. Team have signed all imports. So I wanted to say thank you all for the great support I have got from everyone and also wanted to tell u guys that I really wanted to come back and play in front of best fans I have ever had. I will never forget u. I hope everyone has a great summer. For me it's time to try to find a new team... thats what he's been told,im sure we have issued contracts to fill all the import slot but i dont think we will have the whole squad signed. im sure the team will offer out alot more contracts than we have spots available as not all contracts are accepted.

i agree with FTM, Benedict was good, and you can't fault his work ethic but to me he was no better than Bergin, in fact at least Bergin fought when needed. that is a joke right? in terms of what they both brought to the team, i think they are similar yes... bendict is obviously a better player, however what i am saying is Bergin played a similar role to Benedict and got similar results and i bet he was cheaper. both play a grinder / go to the dirty places kind of role, holding the puck against the board, both were running at about a point a game. benedict had more skill and speed to play alongside fox and DAB bergin would not have been able to do this... however i still think they are more similar than people say.

Saying end of does not mean end of. It's just one opinion. Sorry about that.

WOW. wow! i'm convinced, i'm totally wrong... if you actually read my posts, i am making a comparison to roles in the team more than actual players. and i also stated that obviously Benedict is a better player. and IN MY OPINION Bergin and Benedict were in the team to play very similar roles.

My knickers remain untwisted, however I must say that I felt Benedict was one of the most valuable players on the roster last year, and it annoys me that his hard work is so under appreciated. I was happy that Bergin moved onto different things, but I wouldn't be if Brandy did.

My opinion is that despite recognizing BB's hard work and skill he is IMO a player that we could and should be looking to upgrade on.

Well FTM and Lee, you're both WRONG. End of. ;-) it would seem Corey was on your side of the fence Very pleased he's signed, but still stand by him being a player that could potentially be upgraded.
