And let that be a lesson for Shaggy... it's possible to use the word HATE and not really mean it! . ;D Seriously though, it's funny though how you never hear "If you all hate the Panthers clap your hands" being sung at the HOS... and I am most thankful for that. It does remind me of that playoff semifinal a couple of years back... big bunch of Nottingham, Newcastle and Manchester fans singing "If you all hate the squeelers stand up" ... All the fans in the arena except ours stand up .... Chris Lipsett shoots and scores .... All the fans in the arena except ours sit down in a hurry ;D ;D ;D Don't forget they had that banner as well. It was great, just about got everyone stood up and Lipper scored, sweet sweet sweet. I have never seen 5000 people sit down so quickly. But starting to get real excited now, I dunno why but I start getting excited about Steelers - Panthers matches when the fixture list comes out, and it gradually more and more unbearable waiting for it to begin. So you can imagine how I'll be on sunday at about 2pm when we set off from home to get there.

Sadly Not Bigdave,
Some of us don't finish work til 5pm so i will end up missing the first period!! Grr!!
I personally like the Nottingham Nottingham Chant, I dunno why!? Im not keen on the steeler chant as its worthless and all they reply with is "Youre so sad its unbelievable" LOL
Im hoping panthers will win but with a performance like Tuesdays....... Im not expecting a miracle!

What on earth does he think he's doing? Standing in front of the goalie like that whilst a shot is coming in? It's clear that despite playing all those games in the NHL this lad has got a lot to learn... standing in front of the net indeed - wouldn't be surprised if he crashed the net on the powerplay as well What odds he isn't still screening the goalie by next weekend......

Chances are that becasue he's so big the puck will bouce off him and the goalie won't even have to make a save. anyway back on topic panthers 8-3 steelers (or was it 8-2) repeat of THAT game would be nice wunt it

I hope they don't push him to play / take the risk of icing him if he hasn't recovered enough - that will only make his injury worse in the long run!

Every time we go into a game against Sheffield thinking we may win, we usually end up blowing it (Challenge Cup excepted). I've got a horrible feeling come Monday morning this forum may need to print the Samaritans number !!! ;D I hope I'm wrong.

I aint into doing predictions... They normally go 'tits up' when I dare to predict a result. These games especially ae impossible to predict.
I too am embarrased by the 'All hate the Steelers..clap your hands'' for several reasons. I neither like them or dislike like...& hate is too strong a word. To imply that I either like OR dislike them, shows that I care & think about them, & devote time to such things. To me they are just another team

Don't think we are going into this one as favourites after our last two results.
Suspect a lot of home fans will be nervous and the game could easily go either way.
Hoping for a big crowd, good atmosphere and two points and then I'll be a happy chappy on my way to Rome for a week ;D

Not in the habit of making predictions. Not seen much of Panthers this month and not been too impressed with what I have seen. Saw Sheffield at Coventry and wasn't greatly impressed with them. Tomorrow? Sheffield to win 3-1 as we seem to be going backwards in a hurry. Take heart though - I thought Cardiff would beat us the other week (but fortunately they had an off night )

4-2 steelers even though i don't think it will be But if your are pessimistic anything better than that then you an be very happy ;D Not pessimistic enough for me to be happy Tim... I reckon Panthers to make it 3 losses in a row (I predicted the Belfast loss, didn't bother with Racers) so Panthers 1 Steelers 5
