Looking at our table, we only need one win from our games with Belfast to qualify for the semi-finals.
As Cardiff beat Giants 5-0 tonight, I think we should get the points on Tuesday night, and will more than likely end up playing Steelers in the semi.

We need to come out all guns blazing on Tuesday. It will be very tough to get a result in Belfast!

Knowing how tight the league is now and will be for the rest of the season,we need to play like Sat. BIG game because of the CC would like to see another banner up for 2005 CC winners but don't think they would put another one up would they Tim? As we all know got problems displaying the first one! lol Had a go on your game yet Shorty?

Can't see us pulling it off in Belfast so it's got to be tomorrow. Don't think it will be that easy..probably harder with Giants being whacked by Devils...they'll be up for it whuch we need to be right from the start In theory we look the stronger and favourites..let's hope we don't disappoint. Anyone know how the two groups were drawn up at this stage with Steelers and Blaze being in the easier group of three teams? ???They were almost bound to qualify from that group from the start...wish we'd been in it.

Giants will have played 3 games in 4 nights whereas we would have only played 2.
2 games in 4 nights is enough to regenerate without losing the form we have recently been showing.

and will more than likely end up playing Steelers in the semi. How does that work then? That assumes neither Panthers or Steelers will finish top of their respective groups, and assumes that both wont finish 2nd? HL

I assume we finish second and Steelers win group. Their last game is away to Basingstoke, which I imagine they will win. I also think Cardiff will beat London in their last game as well. But who knows........

We will play Steelers if they win their group and we finish second in ours. If Coventry win group A we will have to finish top of our group. Which is unlikely.

To be honest i dont think we will win it again this year. I think we might get to the semi finals, but will probably get knocked out then, or lose the final. But im hoping im wrong and we win it again.

But im hoping im wrong and we win it again. I am fully confident that we will reatain the CC. When we are playing our best hockey we could beat any team in this league. It's whether we can be the best team over a long period of time which is my main concern.
