I voted NIC, I only went to your old building once and found it very intimidating but enjoyable cause I was behind SS bench ;D NIC is the best hockey venue in this country, there is not a bad seat in the house and the atmosphere is amazing especailly when there's a full house.
MEN is far far too big unless you intend to get 15,000 for a game every week there.
Sheffield - not bad but no atmosphere at the moment needs the bigger crowd, needs to have 6-7000 in there every week.
Smaller Rinks - tend to be very cosy but some seats are not very good but atmosphere is good because they are small.
But NIC will get my vote. I only wish we could have that building, because it wouldn't look as empty with only 3000 people in it.

We all have our own views on polls, i went for the old Nottingham Stadium, it had everything, Smell, Fog, Organ, Dampness, Pigeons. It had an aura about it. I used to skate there and it used to give me a buzz looking up at the seats, going one on one with the invisible netminder to score a championship winner. Sorry for going off on one there!
Manchester i feel was special(Can we nick your announcer?)
Sheffield always had the best entertainment(Can we thr@tt£e your announcer) oops sorry
Lower Parliament Street should be re-named Hockey Street!
Now there is an idea!

For me, it's no contest with LPS winning all the time Yeah, the NIC is nice & big and has comfy seats, not ike the old benches from the 1930's, but LPS was a great place to watch hockey

Not mine! I am going to blame it on the N.I.C other teams create noise from them horn's,megaphones and drums, this starts chants and believe it or not does have an impact on others. Might be going to far trying to do a whole A block thing like Forest? But know whenever chants make it round to block 13 l am not goin to hold back and not sing/chant for my club because the people next to me give me funny looks. I hate the silence! And we need more chants or get more going! Where did l say that the N.I.C atmosphere is someones fault?

I'm not saying you're blaming anyone per se dude, but you've high lighted the lack of noise etc...

Nottingham Ice Stadium, no contest.
The place where I grew up, the one place in the world other than my own house where I felt totally at home.

LPS for me too. This was where I got the hockey bug. As stated above, the smell (real hotdogs with onions), the occasional fog, the old organ and not forgetting the superb atmosphere. The NIC is excellent, don't get me wrong, but LPS was something else!!!

I voted NIC as when it is full and a good game is going on and both sets of fans are chanting it is one of the best places to watch a game.

I love the N.I.C, we are very lucky to have such a fantastic arena as our "home".
I only went to the old arena a couple of times for skating, but I never saw a Hockey game there.

For regular season and play off games LPS wins by a mile(apart from the seating), proper bar, proper food, great atmosphere. For the Play Off Finals it's got to be Wembley. The days of the Heineken Championship finals at Wembley, it had it all, plenty of shops around the concourse selling quality items, fans from all over the country generating a treamedous atmosphere (who can forget the Cardiff Fans and Do the Ayatollah) For me the Finals have never been the same ;D
