No suprises then why Coventry have signed them And people wonder why no one likes the Panthers... You think you can judge a club and 5000-plus fanbase upon one person commenting upon what does appear to be a trend in the recruiting of your own club? Wind yer neck in...

You think you can judge a club and 5000-plus fanbase upon one person commenting upon what does appear to be a trend in the recruiting of your own club? Wind yer neck in... No, but I can judge a few of you on a reoccurring theme of "if it's not Panthers, abuse it" mentality which seems to happen in any thread at any game. Again, a few of you, not all. As for your last bit about a trend in our club, what are you even talking about? We have a hard hitting D man in Egener and a tough guy to protect our young Brit pack in Olson. Greg Leeb is a strong skating center man while his beither is a points player which we needed. What's wrong with that? As for the money side of things, we aren't strapped for cash anymore cause have sold both Crosby's and Hull - both of which were heavy burdens on the blaze club. We've also lost our big earning Brits like Phillips and Weaver. So its not exactly hard to work out why we now have more money to spend on the squad - like we use to have.

No suprises then why Coventry have signed them And people wonder why no one likes the Panthers... Wow, someone got out the wrong side of the bed this morning. I can judge a few of you on a reoccurring theme of "if it's not Panthers, abuse it" Dear oh dear, if things like a throw away comment offend you, then you really should get out more You think you can judge a club and 5000-plus fanbase upon one person commenting upon what does appear to be a trend in the recruiting of your own club? So you've never had players, past or present who get under players skins, take cheapshots, brawl, fight, if the answer to any is NO, then we know you are lying because most, if not all teams have done it, only thing is, when a certain team signs one of the above, you can always tell why they have done so, I bet there has been a time when you have thought 'can't say i'm too suprised that Panthers have signed such and such player' ?

Considering I barely post or come on here, I clearly don't need to get out more Just go back a few pages and you'll see what I mean though. Constant remarks about Blaze for no real reason. Your are right about players that get under your skin. Every team has them. The problem I have though, is some of you have just assumed that about Blaze when they haven't even touched the ice.

Only assumed on this occasion by what we are being told by a player who has faced both Leeb's playing together elsewhere, surely someone who has shared the same ice would know how it is? Also, when we hear that Thommo is putting together a team who are hard-nosed, gritty and in your face, what sort of comments do you expect?

What Thommo was talking about, is the sort of hard nosed players that every team in the top 3/4 has had but Blaze. We were far too soft last season and we got pushed around. As for the comments from other players, well..they played against them. What do we really expect? All dancing singing praise?

This is tedious and off topic.
It's so funny to see all the Blaze fans coming back out of the woodwork. Where have they all been for the last 2 seasons?
Certainly not in the Skydome....
Back on topic. Steven Osman, 21, has joined Devils from Bristol Pitbulls

Steven Osman, 21, has joined Devils from Bristol Pitbulls Signed for their ENL side according to the news on their website, with the opportunity of skating some sessions with the Devils EIHL team, whether that means he'll get some ice time for them in the league or not is another matter, his stats don't look too shabby though from his time at Bristol.

No, Promising stats and he is supposed to be really quick. The Devils do seem to do a decent job of getting the young brits onto the ice.

All right, people... kindly leave this thread to the subject at hand - Elite League Rsoters (and signings) 2012/13... not your petty little gripes. Enough is enough.
