450 million people in 145 countries, and me. Watched Man U beat the Arsenal today.
Hockey needs someone to sell it in this country big time, and soon
How many people here would watch Elite league hockey on a ppv basis?

I'd watch Panthers on PPV, but I wouldn't watch Coventry versus Sheffield anymore than I'd watch, say, London versus Bracknell in a cross league game

What about the Amiens idea 5 Euros a game for a web cast ? If PPV or webcast was for Panthers' games, then yes. Any other team no. I just don't have any interest in watching hockey for the sake of it. Take NASN. I always stay up for Leaf games, but they usually show a game out in Western Canada once Toronto's game is over, be it Canucks or Flames. Once the Leaf game is over on HNIC, I turn off.

Are there any plans to show AHL games on there too? Yes there is tomorrow 4pm Philadelphia @ Hartford - apparently this game is a week old but there's about a dozen or so current NHLers playing in the 2 teams.

Before we go onto PPV events surely better coverage of any sort would be a start.
I know it's like saying Macbeth at a play but the only way it will happen is if a major broardcaster and came in as sponsor.... Sky has done it for rugby league. They saved it. They may have altered it to make it more "Fan orientated" but with a sport like Ice Hockey you wouldn't need any.
If the BBC can have Bowls on (Making major changes to the line up to fit it in no less) surely they could support another sport....
