I think it will be a 2-0 win for the Panthers. Kimmy and Kalmikov with the goals.

For those that are registered in the prediction league I'll only be taking the predictions made in that thread and not the ones on here so make sure you post in the right place if you want it to be counted.

I can see this being level say 2-2 after overtime. Both teams have their tails up and should be a good game.

Very close game, just edging a 2 - 0 with Kalmikov and Wojciak to score

Well this could be the best time to play the Panthers or it could be the Worst time.
You will either be really hugry after your sad exit out of the Continental cup or you will be deflated after it i really hope its the later because the NIC has never been a good home to us unless we had someone called Ulmer playing for us.

After our exploits in Europe anyone wonder what sort of crowd we ll get , cause we ve been getting good ones for the cross over games, and after last weekend , the interest will have grown and would expect a very healthy following to welcome the lads home
I predict 4,500 ish

Not sure on that, as there hasnt been much news or radio coverage about how they did. I know there was the webcast over the weekend, but unless your a Panthers fan then you wouldnt of known about that. Since they have been back i havnt heard a word. Anyway back to the thread, i say its going to be a really close game, but i got to say i think its going to be 4-3 to the Devils Ivan, Craighead and Clarke with our goals.

yeah there hasn't been much coverage but we know we have about 3000 regular fans, and about another 2000 causal fans(that go to a few games a season.) that would of known what was happening in Amiens
so i would expect a bigger crowd (hopefully biggest of the season) for the cardiff game, also most people who get the evening post will know the scores from the CC and how well they played and there was a big section in there twice this week on panthers. just wish they had something in there everyweek.
I am sure 2 or 3 years ago panthers got the back page of the evening Post almost everyweek but now it is a rare sight.
i predict 5-1 panthers
Ivan 2 goals Craighead 1goal Myers 1 goal Kalmikov 1 goal

I was told that the webcast on Sunday was also broadcast on the radio? twix It was broadcast on the 95.5 frequency only which serves the north of the county. Which is ok for those living in Mansfield (or Sheffield) but not much use to many living in and around Nottingham.

On the Conti Cup coverage ... there was a (slightly dubious) report of the weekend in Tuesday's Daily Star.
I'd just like to point out that I am NOT a communist ... the paper in question was purchased by one of the lads who works for me ...!

Sounds like you'd make a good capitalist though - exploiting your minions like that ;D Do you give them a list of which papers they should buy after a big game to see who has the best (if any) reports? You don't? You should give the matter serious consideration for future occasions... ;D

considering the results in Amiens. i will go for an exciting Panthers win. 3-1 maybe? My mate said we will have trouble getting past Rob Wilson, but i don't think we will have too much problem, we got past Milans defense, lljubijana's and Amiens 3 times, our attacking is awesome, must be said.

I'm starting to get a bit worried about everyones confidence with regards to sat. Yes we had a brilliant experience in Amiens and yes we worked as a team better than we have done all season but that doesn't automatically mean we will continure this form on sat. And also we are playing Cardiff who are currently top and are not there by fluke.
And also with our 'success' in Europe it is bound to motivate the teams we play against as they are going to want to try their luck against a team that did so well in Europe.
I think the game on sat could go wither way. We'll evither be too tired and sufering from 2 important injuries and Cardiff will pounce on us or we'll be extremely confident and out play them. Having said all that I'm predicting a draw!

Rob Davison by any chance? Thats probably what he meant. But even so. Devils have 3 or 4 other defenders that we will be able to get past. 1 Man can't make a team.
