Now as any of you who play EA Sports NHL Franchise games for current generation of consoles will know that no British teams appear in these games. Most years new leagues are added but still there is no Eihl. There are other European leagues in the game that are not of the quality or the size of our leagues, I also believe that the proper GB team does not appear either. I would really love to see our teams in those games and I believe if they were it could help to promote hockey in this country and would also help the sales of the games in this country, which has a very large gaming Market. Also if sales increase the NHL it's self may take notice and start to schedule more games in this country like the NBA and NFL have.
Now I wanted to know if any of you agree and if I could get some contact details for the developers would anyone be will to send a quick email asking for UK teams to be added to the next incarnation of the game.

There's no EIHL because it's regarded as a back water of hockey, rightly or wrongly.

That might be true but I think we can change that. There are alot of other leagues on those games that are thought of in the same way, as back waters.

True but including them would up the game sales in this country and help to increase the NHLs profile which they are currently trying to do world wide with there new tv deal that includes africa and the middle east

I have thought this for a years, its about time they included the elite league. I know of ppl that have owned NHL games in the past and loved playing them but didn't even realise Britain has a league until I told them. I'm guessing there is still a lot of these ppl out there and putting the elite league teams in the games will no doubt popularise our league.
I can't see why EA sports wouldn't if they new it would sell more copies over here. I would certainly buy it more often.
How much fun would it be to put one past Jonny 'you suck' Decaro or give a Lepine left hook to Shawn Limpright.....

Id love to see the british league in the NHL games. I was discussing this with friends the other night. Even if the players didnt look like them i wouldnt care aslong as you had the full teams. I managed to create a full Panthers team on NHL 12 (Took ages, and realised i had WAAAAY to much time on my hands), but was pretty cool as most of our players names were on the game already (with the exception of Levers, Lepine and Benedict, i think)
Was funny hearing "Lee, to Fox to Clarke". Plus if you look hard enough on NHL 13 you can find Mike Hoffman (Ex Giants), Devan Didiomente (Devils), Tom Sestito (Squeelers), Pat Gavilan and Jeff Heerema all on the game! For anyone who has NHL 09, Craig Kowalski is on it

To be honest I don't. The players will have at best low 70 ovr and mostly between 50-60. It would be tedious. Try playing GB v Japan and you'll see how unfun the game is to play. EA are hot on there stats so if they put us in they would rate us realistically.

The games seem to play more realistic when you play with 60-70 overall players, rather than anyone higher and on hardcore simulation mode
