So he is... with the points production of a stay-at-home D-man. Do his knuckles drag on the ice, I wonder? To be fair his ECHL stats from 4 years ago arent bad. I think we should get some production out of him. Looking forward to seeing this guy, from his youtube videos he looks like an energy player, who aint afraid to throw hits about and to wade into a fight with bigger players. We have the point scorers, we need a couple of gritty players like Keefe.

0.11 points per game in the AHL...EXACTLY the same as Rob Bellamy.
Keefe will be good in our league. Anybody who keeps getting called up to the AHL must have something about them.

I hope he goes to Hull. Will mean their fans have to come up with a new way of slagging off Nielson

Anyway.. If Colin Shields is returning back to the UK, I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Panthers shirt, at the expense of who though would unfortunately be the problem. He's a Brit so no problem. Be a sign of intent from Braehead though if they can get a Brit of this quality in only their third year

He's a Brit so no problem. The reason I said at the expense of who is because there are a couple of scenarios that could play out.. 1) Provided that all the Brit forwards stayed, bringing in another may seem one too many, so you would perhaps think that one would have to go. Or 2) Give the minority what they want, cut an import forward for Shields and use that to bring in the 4th import d-man.

Whats the chances of Galbraith going to Sheffield.
Sims has some sort of love affair with him.

i read a rumour recently Rhett Gordon is a potential Coach replacement @ Panthers no idead how true This rumour has been doing the rounds a few times, even when we first signed him, taking over of course the rumours of McAslan being the next, looks like Gordon was also linked with being the coach for Braehead at the beginning of this season, so perhaps a coaching role may be imminent in the not too distant future. In other news, listening to the coverage lastnight, for my sins, Simmsy mentioned the rumour of Shields moving to Braehead and... also Murphy, now we all know rumours are just that, a rumour, but if they managed to get both of them, next season will be very interesting.
