Yes the EIHL season is over, but go check out the NHL! The run to the Stanley Cup is started already with teams fighting for a playoff spot!

The one and only thing I ask for, an enforcer to go with Lepine... Maybe not in the crazy Penner mould, but a Clouthier or a Sgroi (Enforcer who can contribute)

I'd ask for better quality match night dvd's. Not so much image quality, but it would be nice to be able to rewind the discs without them crashing...or have them not freeze randomly at key moments

Some I've heard this weekend:
Shields to Italy/France Myers to Cardiff/Coventry Domish to Panthers Galbraith to Steelers Fife to replace Vipers
Oh and every team celebrating Panthers 1956 title win like it was one of their own! ;-)

Myers will be the most sought after Brit this summer. He bases alot of his decisions on whats best for him and his girlfriend which he mentioned when he came back last summer. She has a job in Nottingham so if shes still at that job, IMO he will stay with us.

Ben O'Connor to the Belfast Giants was mentioned by Simm's on Sky.
Also people with Twitter accounts to find out signings first. After Billy Ryan's goal yesterday I am surprised more fans have not gone crazy about getting him and Bellamy back to go with Lacho on that line.

Speaking to Ryan last night - Ryan said he loves it here but he has no idea what will happen. I suppose alot depends on who we get as coach - they may not want him. Also speaking to GM, he's working on Lepine - whether he;s saying that to appease fans I dont know.

I actually thought Lepine had one of his worst games yesterday. He was at fault for the first and the third goals.
He has been quality for the rest of the season and we still won so I will forgive him

Losing Shields would be a HUGE blow for the Giants!
I too would like another tough guy to play alongside Lepine, that would give him a bit more space to concentrate on his game. Could you imagine a D with Lepine and Hoffman on it! Awesome!

Awesome! i'm not convinced about Hoffman, He seemed to spend alot of time attacking on Saturday, at ome point o thoguht he was playing forward, we've had D men of this type before and they never worked out... Zion, Pelltier, D'Amour. (obviously none are as tough or physical as Hoffman so he does add another aspect to our game)

Not that I stalk Rob Bellamy or anything, but I was looking on his facebook to see if he had said anything about the Playoffs and saw this: Chris Zarb Congrats big man, put in a good word for me there! Not saying its a rumour, just saying what I saw www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=15308

If the defence looked similar to this, I wouldn't complain, in any order..
Import Import Import Meyers Import Lee
Year on year, don't care who is incharge, we always seem to lack at the back, it's about time we put right what is wrong. As many others have said, we have signed Kowalski, work forward from there. Seems aswell that we have had better fortunes of late, having 4 import defencemen.
