Is this one a Cup/League double-up?

I hope not ... A cup final can not be doubled up as a league game surely ? If it is then it just shows how unimportant the a cup final really is =/

Is this one a Cup/League double-up? The NIC leg of the final certainly won't be, given they've announced the date already, before knowing the opposition.

Home leg is on Tuesday 8th March. Unknown yet whether it will be a 1st or 2nd leg, anyone know how this will be decided?

Let's be honest, panthers could have finished top of that group. 2nd leg will be in Nottingham, It will make more money for the league that way. (unless we get tonked in the first leg of course).

I think it may well be, as think the Giants will also be struggling to fit it in after the 6th, looking at their fixture list. Though would a 2nd leg between the last league fixture & the start of the play offs be acceptable?

Hypothetical.
If the first leg is in Belfast and it's close score and there's a chance that the Panthers could win it. All the hype and bums on seat spiel will come out and a nearly full house at the NIC. That's if the Giants agree to it, but open dates could be the deciding factor.

i'm appaulled at the fact that Panthers are playing in a cup final i really can't get excited about it, i haven't even bought my season ticket seat and have no plans to. normally i'd have bought it the day the tix were released. Just sums this season up for me.

I'm not sure but Giants may play their home leg at the Dundonald Ice Bowl if they can't get into the O, they could then in theory play the first leg on the 7th and make the Panthers have to travel twice which could help the Giants if we can finish the job off in Cardiff.

Are you relying on the Panthers "bus legs" to kick in and get two easier games. ;D
