Let me have a wild guess that PAYETTE caused it! Am i right? Well he wasn't the player kicked out of the game after that particular fight....but he was kicked out later on after another fight.... I still think that my cats have more vicious fights than what he does....

Taken from Lambys report on THF about the Blaze v Vipers game..
In the Devils game both goalies had ago but Hicks didn`t kick them out (2 for leaving the crease/2+2 for roughing each)

Let me have a wild guess that PAYETTE caused it! Am i right? No. Your wrong. Trumbley hit Clader from the bench and Carslon (who had just scored a 1-on-1 skated the lengnth of the rink and dived into the Newcaslte bench trying to get at Trumbley. It was actually quite amusing becuase he took of about two feet from the borads and landed amongst the Newcastle players. Not really a bench clearence as such nore of a large melee. Ferone and payette did have two fights though. The first Payette won (Ferone wouldn'd remove his helmet in that one) and Ferone won the 2nd.

There wasnt a bench clearence in Cardiff, Patterson and ewasko wanted to go, but stripeys wouldnt let them. Vez was mouthing off as usual so romanuick was trying to protect him.
Next thing i see is the goalies steaming into center ice where they had more of a wrestle than a fight, but anyone who wants to see it the Cardiff Devils website has clips

Nope Payette didn't start it, he finished it I thought it was Gallace who hit Calder, then being the chicken that he is, skated off... prompting Carlson to jump over the wall at him. Gallace had had a tough game, with constant (undeserved) jeering from the Coventry fans right behind his bench, and after he broke his stick he went straight for Calder. It was like a scene from a film really... all the fighting on the benches stopped and Payette and Ferone squared off in the centre circle, and they had a classic lengthy brawl with not much to decide between them. In the end they both just agreed to stop, as they were exhausted and the officials didn't separate them. It's a shame about the second time round, Andre shouldn't have dropped the gloves as he got spanked.
