Bergin really isn't the answer! We've got some serious problems in this team, and swapping the only player who gives us a plan B for a just above average grinder isn't going to turn this season around.
But then who cares, the season's over. We may as well just sign a load of loonies so we can at least have some entertainment for the next 3 months.

we need to start building a play off team and forget about the league I think that's a fair point. Bergin is much more a play off player than Penner. Not saying I think the same old 'call in the old guard' is the answer, but can see the logic.

We all know Bergin loves Nottingham and alotta fans love Bergin - the old "unfinished business" cliche. If we got Calder and Bergin in for McDonald and Penner then I'd be very very happy.

Thought we'd all said it was unlikely Calder was coming?

Not the answer, but at least a decent bag of chips from top of barker gate.

Not the answer, but at least a decent bag of chips from top of barker gate. Well the queues do seem to have got pretty bad of late, perhaps they sent out the SOS rather than Panthers. Team needs a decent face-off winning centre, not a plodding winger with the turning circle of the QEII.

I might be totally wrong here, but given that Amiens currently lead the Ligue Magnus, how likely is it that Bergie would want to throw away the chance of a Championship medal in France, and take a pay cut, just for the opportunity to play for a team that are apparently on the slide, and serve chips part-time again?
