You say that we need a out and out tough guy but Coventry won the league this season with out a guy like that and also Sheffield last season. No Richo, i said "i'd like to see an out and out tough guy" that's my opinion. Whether we need one or not is open to debate and down to the coach at the end of the day.

Heard that Corey is to coach elsewhere and the Bruce will be Newcastle coach and we are having Wilson as our coach.

Simms has said they have signed a player...but the said player doesn`t want to be named untill after the playoffs!!!! So guessing he plays for 1 of the 4 teams at this weekends finals (so that won`t be a returning player then ;-)

Finnerty would be my guess, most of their fans want him back, would be funny though if it is, especially after he helped knock steelers out of the playoffs

I'm not quite sure why anyone would want to sign for Sheffield at the moment.
A very poor season, falling attendances, playing more and more games out of an inferior rink and having to listen to Simmsy at some home games.
They dont have a lot going for them.....

Heard from many people that Bruce won't be back next season, he's apparently going back home for family reasons.

In a way i agree, the last couple of games, Henderson has come into his own, id like him to start next season alongside Macca and Mann, that could be devastating, hes not a great finisher but seems very fiesty when he wanted to be

Last time I checked one teams money is as good as anothers. If not we could always show them our league trophies...

I suspect the Steelers will be announcing the return of Ash Tait in the next 48 hours.
After the poor season and play-off campaign they'll want to get some good news out to the supporters before the play-offs.
There's supposed to be an announcement coming up and on Radio Sheffield this morning I did hear Seth mention the word "Tait".
I can't say I was overly joyed by Phillips re-signing, but even in his mid 30's I think Tait would be a good signing for the club.
Regards
