Yes, perfectly fair comment and we are injury effected. My memory of the 16/17 squad was slightly better than their stats. The other team I did think of was the 05/06 Blaisdell Panthers once Tessier left.

It is strange. Each season the personnel change, the coach may change, yet the results remain dire. Even the fanbase seems lower this season, yet we are one of the best supported teams in the League. I'm not sure that Black and Moran can influence it that much. Can they? The constant part of what you say could well be your answer

Panthers have obviously closely studied ex season ticket holder's responses on why they haven't renewed.
GM in last night's programme 'What’s really good is how the vast majority of fans have stuck by the club and continue to support everything we’re trying to do. We lost some fans along the way but we always do. The season ticket sales sheet is always different year on year.'
I keep on commenting they're so predictable, but that's Panthers for you.

It could have been so so easy. They’ve made it far more difficult than it needed to be and made a right pigs ear of it. 🙄 As I've said above, this is so what you expect of the Nottingham Panthers. We're being asked why we haven't renewed when things like this are exactly why people don't renew. Email through saying former Gold ST holders will now be allocated a Gold seat . That's very good Panthers, just such a shame that the first decision on things like this regularly needs to be changed. Right first time would be so much better.

Judging by Twitter they've made the usual Horlicks of this process. It could have been so so easy. Looking at the ticket map for this one blocks 12 and 3 have been taken off general sale, so I'm guessing everyone in this boat is going to be put in there. Could be a fun atmosphere in those block! If you all hate the Panthers ....

Surely Panthers might have sorted this before putting the first game on sale (I know I'm expecting way too much). My email was sent when first requested. Being offered seats in Block 3 or 12 (former Gold season tickets). Thanks Panthers, you are really living up to expectations. We are being asked why we haven't renewed (that's good), the trouble is that the reasons will be obvious - this ticket offer being such a great example.

Something like this 'Many ST holders have been in touch wishing the club well and urging the club to continue to move forward'
from the Panthers seems to regularly appear in news that is not going to be received well.

18-12 shots? Crikey, Clan had 12 shots all night? Picked a good game to miss by the sounds of it. 2 points and no further (significant) injuries. I'll take it... I'd suggest it was higher than 12 but not by much (16 or 17 perhaps ). Carr definitely seemed to have more than 5 saves in last period. It seems to be done by someone sat behind Ken and the shots totals have seemed on the low side a few times this season. Possibly because they're being done from an angle rather than behind the net. Clan certainly blocked a lot of our shots last night and deterred more shots by being in front of a potential shooter.

Lee had statistically his best game of the season so far, scoring his first goal of the season and a +3 rating on the night. Looked like Lee had been encouraged to shoot more often last night and it worked with a bit of luck involved. Stewart's passing was also making Perlini and Farmer more dangerous. He set up two clear chances for Perlini, one scored.

Can only think that they may have taken more bets on us than other teams at the start of the season so they quote a poor price now to avoid increasing their risk on Panthers, otherwise we'd be at least the same price as Fife.

Current odds at Betfair Sportsbook to win the league.
Devils Evens, Giants 6-4, Panthers 11-4, Flyers 11-1. Hopefully they're not getting many bets at 11-4, not exactly value.

Had a quick conversation with the refs at Woodall services. Tetlow was sent off because it was viewed as a sucker punch to a non-willing combatant.

Another highlight for me was Olsen's shot in the first period. Looked like he really laid into it.

Thanks bobness. Following on from Q9, what are the current figures for our PPs compared to number of PKs?

May I ask a stats related question of this game, for anyone who knows/can remember? Doty took a minor at 33:46, Rissling one at 34:03. The Storm goal was timed at 35:46. Was Doty back on the ice at the time the goal was scored, thus it was scored on a 5 on 4 PP, or was he not, in which case it was a 5 on 3 goal, and Rissling's penalty continued for another 17 seconds after the restart? Thought on the night that the delay of game penalty might have been a bench penalty for trying to change lines after the ref had his arm up - Wells seemed to be indicating that with gestures to our bench after he called the penalty (not sure if that rule was tightened recently as with the face off one). Pretty sure Rissling was released from the box when the goal was scored so that would indicate a 5 on 4.
