Again, I'm in shock. I've only had professional dealings with Dave but he's always been such a nice guy to deal with. He's a top snapper too and whoever steps into that box will have a hard job to fill Dave's shoes.
Will be a true loss to all his family and friends, and the Panthers team.
RIP Dave.

Absoloutley devastated,...
Pagey,. You were a top bloke ,..and I am proud to say a good mate,..
I have a reminder of you now every time I climb the stairs,.. The framed, signed picture of Sidney Crosby,.. that you took in New York and let me have for my Birthday,.. a true one off,.. and a great demonstration of what a great guy you were. I will miss you more than I can possibly put into words,..and so glad I saw you for a gossip at the allstar game.
Sleep well mate.

Dave, you were the best at what you did. We're all proud you were part of the the Black and Gold, and this is a massive loss to all the fans of the Panthers. May my thoughts go to your family, and I'm sure you will get the send off, you and your family deserve on Saturday.
You will be missed Dave - R.I.P.

Matt's (Dad)
Took a jetlagged son (Matt) to see Dave at Kings Mill Hospital on Saturday. Matt took a GB tee shirt for the 'Big Man'. We both had a laugh with him. We joked about Dave's BBQ skills when our two families met whilst camped at Sandringham, he was a mean cook. Some great memories of a bigger than life character and gentleman. He will be missed by all who came into contact with him and his family. Our thoughts are with his family at this both sad and tragic time.
God Bless you Davexx

Despite supporting them up the M1 it was my privilege to meet Dave on a few occasions. I can only pay tribute to a thoroughly good man, larger than life and a damned fine photographer to boot.
The pain and grief that his family and friends will be enduring at present must be beyond belief but will slowly ease leaving behind happy memories. My thoughts, condolences and prayers are with all who mourn him. He will never leave you.
I'm sure there will be a fitting tribute at the NIC on Saturday - one that will, for a few minutes at least, unite all present in hockey and humility. This Steelers supporter will certainly shed a few tears.
RIP Dave. Steelbar

I didn’t know Dave that well but bumping into him in the lower corridor he always had a smile on his face and always said hello. Unfortunately I won’t be at Saturdays game but will raise a glass for him, and I’m sure both sets of fan’s will make that little bit more noise for those of us who can’t make the game. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Dave.
