i am not to fussed if its rumun that plays or not either way i think we should send someone out who's role is to agitate and cause trouble even if it is bullying the blaze smaller players or running the goalie... i hate to see us being pushed around on home ice Classless oh yeah i forgot we are only allowed to roll out the red carpet for players to come and batter us i really want to see us run perras at every opportunity and every time there is a break in play i want the 5 players on the ice to go and get in the faces of every one of the cov players faces

I know, for next season lets sign the team that Hull started the season with. We would probably end up bottom of the league, but hey at least we could all enjoy the bullyfest, which as we all know, is what Ice Hockey is all about.

Let's leave the young Brits out of this, as I don't remember mentioning them, and they have little or no part to play in team toughness, due to the amount of ice they get. I don't like to see us being pushed around, which I think hasn't happened too much this season (matter of opinion). Injuries to Molin, Meyers, Myers and Tessier were not a result of being bullied IMO. The injury that possibly was caused by this, was Clarkies original concussion in Edinburgh. This was a game where we had our only true enforcer this season, icing for us, go figure. It's a fine line between having enough skilled/scorers, and tougher/less productive players. My hope is that Corey achieves this next season.

what games have you been watching? here's a few incidents i can think of from the last few weeks.
dowd (a brit) jumping our "franchise" player lewis chasing our coach around on our home ice going round like he owned the place ( thats was without us being short benched) kostadine no choicing meyers hewitt hitting a brit as an easy target after he was hit by corey dean holland growing a pair the size of melons because there was no threat of retribution and having andre and big mac to back him up
at no point have i said i want a team of goons, we have been heavily bullied you must watch the game differently to me and we need to toughen up and if that means playing dirty for a few games i dont care i dont want the opposition team coming into our arena and taking the wee wee which has been happening

Shame Briane Thompson retired, he could dish it out when he wanted, how about bringing in Dennis Maxwell?

Would love to see Ndur raise hell against Coventry, we need to send them a message after what Lewis did to Neilson in the last game. Ndur and Bergin should chase Lewis round all game, run the netminder and glove punch any player that gives off any mouth. We don't need points, we need to get our edge and aggression back for the PO's we need both i would prefer the vipers to the devils or the mancs!

dean holland growing a pair the size of melons because there was no threat of retribution and having andre and big mac to back him up Just one small point of pedanticness (is that even a word?), Mac was injured that game and on the bench.

Didn't I read somewhere that if Ruman is re-registered, he can't be DE-registered again, so when Tess is free, it would mean cutting someone else? How i understand it is, that if Rumun was to be re-registered, but then de-registered when Tessier is fit again, that will be the end of Rumun for the season. IIRC, you can only register a player twice,

IIRC, you can only register a player twice, Im glad youve said that, thats what I thought too but thought maybe Id dreamt it lol. So Rumun can come in for 6 games now, but then if hes cut after those 6 games hes done for the season. Id rather have the extra D man going into the playoffs TBH, I dont think weve got enough to really shut teams down as it stands, especially if Meyers is going to suffer pains from his shoulder injury (from past experience, very likely!)

Fair enough thanks for that rob but still take mac out of the equation and holland was still going round like he owned the show at times.

its dependant on how bad tess' injury is though
My only concern is like others have already said what we want to see and what we will probably see from his return are 2 very different things
And to answer a point about who would we cut for the playoffs IF rumun were to stay registered i would go for cook as he gives the puck away too much and possession is key in playoffs more so than at any other time.

Will he be back in time for a beating by Big Mac on Saturday? I know Panthers will win the match, but winning the fights gives us a very small amount of consolation.
On a side note, Dean Holland is injured at the mo (but then, with so many players out for us at the moment thats not a surprise (only 11 skaters on Sunday, and to my knowledge at least 2 of them were playing injured), so maybe no chance for retaliation on Deano from Panthers.

you really think McAllister will fight if you are down to 11 skaters?

you really think McAllister will fight if you are down to 11 skaters? Well he did on Thursday and Saturday, when we were down to the bare bones. The thing is, there is a very slight chance of us changing positions in the league this year, so league games are all but meaningless. Losing Mac for 5 mins or not, we'll finish 7th.

See thats what I would hope we are gonna be doing. We are guaranteed a playoff spot, we cant finish any higher, at least go out and start sending messages.
