It all kicks off tonight with Leeds Rhinos against new boys the Celtic Crusaders, im hoping Leeds can win as i have a bit of money on them at -22 points on the handicap..! Whos for the league? Challenge Cup? And of course the Grand Final?? You cant really look past either Leeds or St Helens to split the trophies between them. Im obviously going for Saints to win the lot!

Predictions from me
Grand Final Leeds Rhinos
C Cup Saints
I also think Bradford owe their fans a season as they have not produced much under McNamara. I would also like to see someone like Warrington make a sustained bid for silverware.

The Panthers don't do league titles. Not even Carlsberg can manage that!

I missed the Leeds game last week and I won't catch the Saints v. Warrington live, so gonna have to set the sky+
As for the season, I am in agreement with Leeds and Saints to be front runners again, with Wigan and Bradford chasing and Catalans getting in the mix once more.

Can't see past Leeds as winning everything...but as a Leeds fan, that's to be expected.

Have Warrington ever beaten Saints in the Super League? I don't remember it ever happening.

Wigan are going to struggle this season as the first 2 games have highlighted, no strengh in the forwards. I thought Saints would struggle especially with a new coach and the fact that the team are a year older and a year nearer retirement, but last friday was ominous for the rest of the pack. Leeds will be strong Warrington will do a Nottinghm and promice much , but just wont deliver, despite the money spent Wakefield will peter off after a bright start, when the faster teams get to play on the harder pitches Catalans will struggle , their coach was THE reason for thier sucess. Huddlesfield could be dark horses, they have strenghtend well during the off season and the bigger crowds, and better atmosphere could prove a winner (99quid for a season pass!) Hull FC will struggle in the shadow of their illustrious neighbours the mighty HULL KR !! Bragging rights once again to the East of the city! Bradford or dads army will be there or thereabouts, but hvent got the class to test the Sts and Leeds Cas will have had a great years prep last year and will come back stronger. Crusaders and Salford bottom 2 .........could be a long season for the Welsh upstarts.

Will be making the journey up to the Jungle a few times again. Not quite the "Classy Cas" of old, but once a tiger always a tiger. Looking forward to the new stadium being built.

Haven't really been worthy of the billing since the days oc St.John Ellis Tawera Nikau and Lee Crooks to be honest. Hoping to get there myself this season, but I said that this time last year too. Go Cas

i actually went to the game. the ref was shocking and made some absolutely awful decisions. we would have won if we had kicked well. but all our tries were too wide. we showed some great stuff in the secod half which does show that they will be ok. but its a far cry from the old days im afraid.

Just for reference who does everyone support and why?
I support Hull Kingston Rovers , mainly because when I was in school my old school teacher (Ged Dunn) used to play for them a the time and I used to get free tickets off him ! As for now, I lke the way they are building the club.
Not a very Rosey house here, as the Wife is a big Hull FC fan !

Rhinos
When I was 6 my best mate's Dad took us to see a Leeds United game. From then on I've always supported Leeds teams.
Fortunately Rhinos are doing well as it's been rough following Tykes/Carnegie and United for the past few years.

St Helens. Just always supported them since super league of 96' under the McRae era when i first got into rugby league. Favourite player has always been Kieron Cunningham. Try get to watch them a few times a season then either Challenge Cup final or the grand final if we get there, which we normally do..
