The steelers are really getting on his back and to be honest i feel a bit sorry for the guy! I never thought i would say that!) They just don't seem to be able to except that there whole team is the problem not just their netty! OK Lehman isn't great but we all knew that anyway! Its a team game and from what iv heard its the whole team that need the sack! Poor Lehman you just ignore them and keep letting those goals in ME will pay you at the end of the season! Link

I'll never feel sorry for Lehman. Eversince last season when he firstly punched Sutter in the back of the head as he skated past him and secondly, when Dion was fight Farrand(?) and Lehman hit him on the back with his stick.............and got called for neither. He's just a past it waster who should've stayed in retirement and saved himself the embarrassment of conceding 15 goals in 3 games and will probably be out of there by christmas.

You cant call Blaisdell rubbish! Hes an absolute genius. I know you guys dont like him for going to that small town up the road, but what he did before at Durham was pretty impressive. Isnt he the best coach in Britain for Silverware anyway? Back on topic, I also "dislike" Lehmann too. Hes very sly with his rabbit punches, and have seen him 3rd man in loads of times he gets away with it all..

Nope we don't care for Mike because of what he did to us last season , we couldn't care less about what he does up the road to them. Don't recall him coaching at Durham to be honest and he ddin't win too much silverware with us..........
As for Lehman, nope not at all - over hyped, over blown, past his best ( if he ever had one) and 'the family' only have themsleves to blame for coaxing him back when he retired.

Whens Blaiser coming in. Bet Simmsey is on the phone at least twice a day begging him to come back ;D Funnily enough if you talk to the Shuff fans, a lot of them don't ever want to see him again HL

Reality check, Squeelers. Tango Man's best season in England was for Coventry. He's always been a decent stopper, but he's never been the best at holding anything. ...The difference between Cov's Lehmann and Shuff's Lehmann is the protection he's (not) getting from his Defence. ...Long may it continue!!

when the Steelers won the grand slam, didn't Blaiser go over the budget by 33%? and last year he was moaning that teams were breaking the wage cap laughable if you ask me As for Jody he was made to look good infront of Belak, Martin ect... different when you have Darby, Thomas and Ricci

The question is, what type of family are the Steelers?
They make out to be the Sopranos but they're more like the Dingles...

You're top of the league for the first time since god knows when. Every game you've played so far has been a thriller yet you're still talking about us. ;D

Just a comment on the Lehman thing. To be honest I do feel sorry for him because after last season he was clearly not up to it and shouldn't have been brought back. At the end of the day he isn't going to turn down a well paid job contract to do the job of his dreams so its up to the Sheffield management to recognise he's not good enough.
Fair enough in the four games I've seen so far he's been let down to some extent, although not entirely, by the defence but his job is to save the puck. He is the last line of defence and he simply isn't up to scratch. It's a shame too because he is a top top bloke!!!!!

Like i say i think you just need to except he isn't going any were any time soon its just not that easy to make a switch in that position as anyone whose any good is already signed! You will just have to get used to being bottom I'm afraid craig as its your whole team that is the problem and you cant change them all can you! However the one position you can change is your coach and you lot seem VERY good at that so i wouldn't be surprised if MWB was back at the steelers before Christmas

Matsos will get the full year. I've no doubt about that. I seem to remember us signing a certain Mr Bronsard half way though the season and he did alright for us. Especially in the playoff final!!
Phillips has said this season that if someone isn't good enough they're gonna be out but I'm not a big fan of sacking players especially considering they dont earn much money so they'd feel the loss of money as much as we would.
