Just called the arena shop to find out any further news on the new shirts, and have been told that the shirts are unlikely to be here this week. If they do it will be saturday evening and will be only a 3rd of the order so limited amounts available even if they make it this week!
Same old story... im sure someone at customs is a steelers fan

I e mailed the Panthers and GM replied saying they are confident the 2nd batch of jerseys will arrive in time for Saturday, the 1st batch apparently lost at customs They should come in different sizes and home/away

In all fairness i think the GM is more likely to know whats happening than some shop worker don t you?
This is out of Panthers control, its down at customs where the blame lies

Also, what does he have to gain by saying they'll be here if they won't?

If its the same problem every year - why don't they order them a bit earlier! and where are they coming from?? Surely its not that hard to order some shirts and get them through customs (or is someone not doing their job right at 1 end and thats what is causing the delay at customs?)

Hey, anyone know how the sizing of thee rep's compares to the jerseys made by Rhino?
I want to get a rep I can wear to the game and play in, so I need to know it wil fit over my pads.
Anyone got a suggestion? I'm an XL in my Rhino jersey. What would that equate to for a Replica?

Well, I got an XL in last years jersey and it is pretty massive even over my pads, so you'd definitely be fine with that. Whether you'd get by with a large I don't know, I think you might just manage but don't quote me on that.
To take it to an extreme measure you could take your shoulder pads with you to the shop! ;D

Hahaha, I might do that, lol
Think they'd hate me if I made all their shirts smell of Hockey. lol
I assume they will have all the players names in stock, or do you get them put on afterwards? I'm all new to this Replica shirt thing. D'oh!

I have a friend who has worked in Customs & Excise for many years, and he assures me that the delays annually attributed to HM C&E are spurious, as it is not in C&E's interest to delay the delivery of goods, as they can't collect the Import Duty on them until they're cleared. They are more interested in locating smuggled goods that actually seek to avoid the payment of duty. Although I'm no great lover of Government Agencies, IMHO the HM C&E are easy to blame for what are, in reality, delays caused by bad planning and late ordering!

Ok you have to get the player name and mumber you want printed onto the shirt after you have the shirt....or pay for both at same time and get it done there and then, although if anything like last season it was several weeks before they had all the templates for every player, so dont hold your breath on the name printing yet.

Whilst I'm not especially keen they're the first Panthers jerseys to have the word Nottingham on them in several seasons. As I don;t have any old 'Nottingham' jerseys I'll get one on that basis alone!

Got my away Jersey tonight. Turns out I was an XXL in the Rhino jersey I had and therefore an XL in the Panthers Away jersey. Well, XL fits with my pads on, it looked massive on me when I was wearing it at the game! lol

Got my away shirt loving the design ;D There was a big que at the till though (cough*) Lucy and Runner bean (*cough) Sorry It's just that we had to wait while she fetched the shirts from a storeroom, then wait longer while the lad totted up the cost of WOOLHOUSE and SHMYR with all the extra numbers And I will keep quiet about the final total, but....... Mine is a birthday present (next week) and Runnerbean's is a very early Christmas present
