I saw the 5-0 game Tex. We were shocking all night.
And yeah you won most of the fights as well. Although I think Scotty Allison gave Neinhaus an absolute pasting. The only good thing any of our players did all game!

One of my favourite nights as a Panther. We beat them big then beat them up. ;D Then just to add salt into the wounds Jamie Leach made it 5-0. I got to watch the whole thing surrounded by their fans too.

And Jim Mathieson showed Mike Ware you dont have to shout about being tough to hurt people? I had that on video somewhere, happy days. Edit: I dont think it was actually, I cant remember who fought that night apart from Allison v Nienhuis

Things I missed? Biggest one for me was not seeing us win the play-offs a few years ago. I saw us beat Belfast in the semi-finals, but due to work commitments I had to miss the final.

The bench clearance against Sheffield. I had to work, my husband was late picking me after my shift finished cos he stayed to watch the end of the game.

Might not be considered a 'major' panthers moment, but still sad I missed the 4-0 win over Coventry early this season. I watch the video and it still puts my hair on end.

Missed the 19-2 win over Murrayfield, due to living in Germany at the time. Although I did come back for the final.
Also missed our biggest ever win, 31-2 over Southampton in about 1982. I was at the cubs' Halloween party or some such thing and I am still bitter about it.
More recently, not made it to the last two CC trophy wins on home ice due to other commitments. The only two modern era trophy wins I haven't seen.

Not Major but......Came home from an Ashfield game away (I was officiating) and was glad I missed a Panthers 'home' game.Cleveland had thumped us something silly, was shocked......peeps coming out were shaking their heads.Always remember that as I never wanted to miss a home game in those days (so Major to me), still don't really but it was usually a no,no to be elsewhere in those days at the old stadium.

I remember that game; I went last minute with my brother in law after work & it was funny to win comprehensively in Coventry ice after so many fruitless games. I’m sure it was after Thompson had made his Team Hollywood quip & the locals were extremely antagonistic & hostile 🤣🤣🤣

Away at a game helping Ashfield Islanders and came back to find out we had lost 0-16 (was it?) to Billingham Bombers (Cleveland) at home.Shock.
