How much Ndur gets involed and Shmyrs career have nothing to do with Covs potential signing.
Correct But the point you made was enforcers take dumb penalties which I just cannot see.

This guy moly or whatever his name is will have to play very smart hockey and clean as every time hes in the box they ll be playing 3 d and in Jamieson, jonathan `im really a forward` weaver and soderstome they ll be in trouble. Thats why im praying Ndur plays it sensible too and not get dragged into any poo poo other players throw at him

Hopefully Corey is working on his special teams , as we ll be getting plenty of practice ;D Can't help thinking this is a weakness of ours right now. As Rich said, I'm sure Thommo will be getting in a Martin-esque who can play the transition and control the powerplay. That was the reason they scored so many powerplays last season as their defencemen play the puck so well. We've signed Corey, who is hit and miss and Danny who really isn't a quarterplay on the powerplay in my opinion. John88 - I think its a case of wait and see regarding powerplay teams. I certainly have more optimism on the powerplay than I had from last season. From reading some of the US sites I think our new import outskaters might suprise a few. HL

According to a few forums, the new Blaze d man is Corey LeClair which seems a strange signing as he doesn't seem that good !!

Blaze's success was down to playing 4 forwards + weaver on the PP and executing the umbrella well. Looks like it's Corey LeClair - a very under-whelming signing.

COREY LECLAIRDoesnt look special, doubt he is Martins replacement. Certain isnt as good as the guy this thread was about!

Vipers announcing a new d-man tomorrow - could be Jolly (although rumours are that it isnt - probably the return of Burt Henderson)

I've heard we are getting Peltier, but tomorrow it is Burt - Judguing from Robs previous comments about a couple of returnees from last year - DC and Burt were the expected ones, and with DC already announced, it is only a matter of time before Burt is announced. If we get Pelts, then I would love the (persistantly rumoured) return of Big Mac (Chris Mcallister) to partner him, and Gouett and Burt the other pair. Solid, dependable, and with a bit of flair to make sure the old man in between the sticks doesnt have too much to do!
