Credit to the stix, they all played better than the first leg. A lot more physical contact and some bad calls by the lines people. hey, we all have to learn somewhere....

As a member of the Stix team in both fixtures, just want to say thanks for the two games you gave us. I hope we gave you a bit of a challenge, and i'd like to think that we competed much more in the game just gone by than we did down on the main pad in the NIC which was a bit one-sided.
It's certainly a strange feeling being a long-time Panther but also turning out for Sheffield on a regular basis.
Only thing that was frustrating was being shut-out in both games, as we had a few decent chances on Saturday night. Fair play to your netminder though, he did alright for you lot.

You might want to have a chat with the Knights roster mate as quite a lot of them started out life with Stix. Stix definately improved from the first game and certainly put up a damn good fight. I enjoyed that game and I look forward to the next fixture between the 2 teams

Not really sure of anyone else who has played or trained for both though, but don't know many of the guys on the Knights roster in fairness. Like you said, looking forward to the next game though

its been a while but me and rich have been to a few stix sessions! Tis true. When I started back playing I started with the stix. I went on to play in sheffield for 4years and only recently stopped. Its not that far when you get used to it. I owed it all to the stix and even wore my stix shirt to ENL trials! Once you stop going though, you realise how much of a pain it is travelling up and down the M1 at silly times!
