I'd be very pleased to see him back if true, I rated him very highly last season. I think he'll have more protection this year from bigger line mates, and won't have to cover the defence as often. Ptentially, I can see him replacing McAslan as our top goal/point scorer

Id take Molin, he can go out there and not have to cover D all season under the new roster. Wally would be awesome but cant see him coming back

Well where's this extra protection everyones on about? We had Shmyr Neilson and Bergin last season and Ndur Neilson and Bergin so far for next season, exactly the same ammount of toughness in my eyes. Would prefer to see Wallenberg a top line centre then a Shmyr type player or depending on how much cash is left a Craighead type instead. We definitely need more size on the forward lines imo

I'm hopeing/expecting a big rough tough enforcing wingman and a top top magician of a centre. Molin's a good player but i don't see the fit in this squad

I too have heard that of all last seasons unsigned imports, Molin is the most likely to re-sign. Personally I wouldn't like to see him back, as I struggled to see any of the attributes his arrival was supposed to bring i.e. speed, stickhandling and sharpshooting. Add to this, no slapshot, and also being lightweight in the corners and checking departments. Having said all of that I do think he was among the hardest workers, and probably had the most proffesional attitude to his job of the entire squad. If the only way he is going to reach the heights of his season with the Phoenix, is for him to be protected by an enforcer, and spoon fed by a 'Tony Hand', then I think we could do better, cheaper. I don't know where the constantly covering for the defense comes in Rich, unless it was another less than subtle dig at your 'mate' Steve Pelletier.

On the forward lines we have Bergin as the only real size, Clarke is 6'1 and quite fiesty at times but thats not enough at all. Last season Molin struggled as whenever Bergin and Shmyr weren't on the ice he was getting knocked around too much, if we could get one more tough guy then that should give enough toughness in depth for the team. The way I'm looking at it we only need a top line centre, and either two third line wingers or one winger and a centre depnding on where Levers plays on the third line

Molin was one of our most defensive forwards last season, when Pelts went up the ice Molin tended to be the one sitting back in case he lost it, which he often did.
Stick Molin on a line with a top centre and Craighead type and he could knock up 80+ points but at the moment we seem to have got all our smaller forwards and we now lack size especially if Hull are going to be the new racers and Newcastle are going to have both Sharpe and Payette as rumoured

I think given the circumstances johan had a good season overall, got a fair amount of points and did more than his share on the d.
for sure he could do better given the right line mates and not have to do so much on the d but i would like to see a bigger player on our forward lines and as galbraith seems to be his replacement i don't think he'd fit in with the balance of the team this time around imo.

Andyd, by doubting Mohlin's speed and stickhandling, I think it was because I was expecting him to be able to find himself on breakaways more often and deke the keeper. Maybe his speed and stickhandling were overlooked by me because of his lack of one on one opportunities. Regards Pantherman

One of our most commited players last season, and I would be delighted if he was with us for another season. Am sure we will see more from him given a more settled defence.

Tbh id rather see us take a gamble on somebody late on for the final wing slot. Then again if we can afford Molin to go with the signings weve made I wont be disappointed!

With the addition of the 2 centres we should definetly try and get him back, he'd be able to rack up alot more points with a gritty centre on his line to create space for the little guy!

Would be nice to have him on the team, but i dont think that we would have enough left in the pocket, we still need a top rate goalie, and tbh, i carn't see Bergin/Cook/Clarke willing to play on the 3rd line
