Grant Mcneil
Lance Galbraith
One D and one forward - neither seem strangers to the penalty box - one has had a coupe of games in the NHL and both have limited AHL experience
Could just be 'Man down pub' type rumour however it came from a source across the pond - for whatever thats worth
That Pensecola / Florida link is in there again!
Time will tell

I wouldn't mind seeing Galbraith here at all not too fussed for mcneill really but thats because i don't know too much about him.
If there is anything in this i reckon it would be one or the other because otherwise the penalty box will never be empty!

Don't know what you mean as doesn't take many penalties. As for Grant McNeil, he does take a lot of penalties and wouldn't mind him as an aggressive checking D-man but not as our lone enforcer, I'd still want a Shmyr/Clouthier on the team. He's the one Bergin KO'd Nick

Sorry mate your absolutely right, nearly 600 pims in two seasons!! Could well be the in your face player Neilson was talking about wanting in the team. Could you imagine Galbraith McNeil Neilson Bergin and Shmyr on one team, would love to see that sort of toughness Nick

To be fair its about the only time Mcneill has been KO'd and he was in control of Kev before that. He would easily be in the top5 heavyweights in the league fighting wise whilst also being a damn good player. Galbraith-Stats speak for themselves.
Would be over the moon with either, may wet myself if we got both!

If we get either of these 2, then we are likely to be a pretty tough side to face next season! Get both, and we could be on the way to becoming the new Charlestown Chiefs!! McNeill is obviously a 'stay at home' D-man, and takes no cr@p from anyone! ;D Galbraith sounds as though he has some talent for finding the net, has a rather lively gob; is in your face, and isn't averse to a little fisticuffs - a bit like a cross between Carlyle Lewis and Ryan Finnerty! [glow=red,2,300]YES PLEASE!![/glow] ;D Next signing after these - Ogie Oglethorpe?? ;D

WOW - Both of these would be awesome signings!!
I think Galbraith would be the perfect agitator who scored LOADS of points that we need.
ALL those points despite being in the sin bin half the game!!
Those two would definatley fit in with Coreys "Physical & in your face" game plan.

Galbraith would be incredible! Obviously has the perfect knowledge of when to fight and when to play. McNeil looks decent but having two people wanting to fight on the same team could result in going against Neilson's team plans and we'd end up like Newcastle a couple of years ago with Cornish and Payette always spoiling for the fight.
If we got either of them it would be amazing but I wouldn't be too sure about both.

Yeah but Galbraith is only about 5'10 and only fights other people his size - he's not going to take on the likes of Clouthier, Voth, Lewis etc.................
He's the guy who's gonna kick the hell out of the likes of Finnerty, Stewart etc.............
You still need a 6ft+ guy to handle the heavies.

Fair enough but he must be able to stand his own against the big lads too with so many pims. I'm sure with that many he'd have enforcers queing round the block to potentially take an easy fight.

Just because he has a lot of PIMs doesn't mean he can take on the bigger guys. Of course but he must be used to fighting them as they would always be wanting to fight him. For all we know however he might not have had one fight and taken really really bad minors all season... unlikely though.

Maybe he is a gobby silly sausage and is always recieving mis-conducts for shouting his mouth off or
Has lots of illegal equipment (sticks, brass knuckles, knife, bat, gun) or
can't change on the fly to save his life or
Has a tendency to strip off on the ice toward the end of a game if his team are losing by more than two goals !
The possibilty's are endless

What I'm saying is if he fights then the actual fighters on teams, like McNeil, would be wanting a piece of him especially due to his size. For example if he played Coventry and went for stewart then someone like Timmons or Ndur would be showing him where to really fight. If he couldn't fight those like Ndur then theres no way he'd be getting over 200pims each year.
