Right, having seen the Sheffield Vipers jersey it turns out they paid the same as us for their stuff, but they got numbers on the arms, numbers on the chest, a second crested logo on the shoulder and C's and A's stitched on.
All I asked for was numbers on the arms and C's and A's for us to hand out when we decide them but they wanted to charge us extra on top of the £59.50 we have paid per jersey/sock set.
With this in mind I have sent them an email asking why we are being asked to pay more than other teams who paid the same as us and got more.
I sent this email and will wait for a response. Any thoughts?

Well that was quick.
Numbers on the arms, C's and A's to be sent to us and names/numbers on the black jersey will be gold. Result.
That reminds me, next thing to decide is C's and A's. Need to hand out voting forms me thinks to players over the next few weeks and find out who the team want in these roles. When the jerseys and the C's and A's arrive, when can then give them to players to get stitched to their jerseys.

Great work Rob. I think using facts about Ice Tigers and Vipers' shirts have helped our cause, plus the fact that eventually we'll be having 2 shirts from them, some now as well. Thanks again Rob, your effort is much appreciated.

Good work Rob
Just to put my tuppence in on the Cs and As, be careful. Its ok voting for a guy short term but alot of guys dont know each other yet and if it turns out the guy they are voting for isnt somebody they know it could get messy in a few months if you want to change things.
I guess it depends who gets it but its a big decision to make early on and it would look poor if we had to tape over somebodys C!

No C's n A's on the shirts!!! People have to also remember exactly what the C's n A's have to do as well. Not much point in voting for your mate if hes the timid one and not gonna get refs to change calls I think everyone who WANTS to be a C or A should put their name forward and why, political style!

I agree with Ted. I think that people who want it should put their names forward rather than just voting, cuz if everyone gets one vote each apart from one guy who gets 2 votes then it becomes a bit daft. I know its an extreme end of what could happen but it is a chance that 28 get one vote each, one person gets no vote and 1 person gets two votes then it becomes a bit of a farce cuz 28 people thought someone else would be better for them. If people put theior name down then we might get a shortlist and voting might be a bit fairer!? I know what I mean if it doesn't come across on here, or people don't get it!!

Don't worry there is no rush.
C's and A's badges are being sent to me direct. We can hold the voting whenever, sometime within the next few months tho as I know we will have games coming up soon and they need to be in place by then.
Then once we are happy, I can give the badges to those selected to get them stitched on. (Is there any players or wives of players who can do this well?)
I do like the idea of putting your own name forward, with a mission statement if you like, to help people choose and make the right decision. Voting then can take place from a shortlist. Ya sounds good.

ZF, Dunno whos gonna organise games but we are fortunate enough to have been offered icetime at Peterborough playing the Predators. They are an entry level beginner team who play non checking for fun. Mixed ages and men/women mixed team.
Sat 7th June @ 4.15pm Sun 3rd August @ 6.30pm
Shall I confirm or can Kev/Rob please let me know. They wont get icetime at slots like that again this year for sure so its a great opportunity

Hey Rich,
Can't confirm on matches. It's Kev who is sorting those out mate so you need to speak to him about these direct.
I am just sorting the jerseys for now bud.

Sunday sunday sunday!!!
I cant make saturday games without masses of notice.... Might book that day off just in case!!!
As for sewing.... errr.... I can sew...
Peterboro Preds.... ace.... were they the guys we shared the changing room with or was that Phoenix?
I know eagles were the good team we actually played in the tourney. Played in Yellow IIRC.
Just a quick one re games.... reckon andy might ref a scrimmage for us properly one week? Warm up, then straight in, give everyone a change to work on rolling line changes, playing for stoppages, offsides etc.

Good idea re teams. Everyone take a white and black onto the bench and warm up and train in the teams as a game like scrimage
