The Pr@ts must not win the Superbowl. But it looks a certainty. So it's time to ask the question.......... WHO CAN STOP THE PATRIOTS FROM WINNING THE SUPERBOWL?

103,000 watched the NFL in Mexico. Maybe Wembley next season? Got you wish & I'll be on my way there, even if it is the Dolphins on show.

Four times league champions. Only team to have appeared in the Superbowl in four different decades. The winningest team in all of pro sport in America. Just. Win. Baby. Let's see how the Pats get on next season. Seen their schedule?: 2007 Patriots Opponents Home: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers. Away: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Indianapolis Colts. Good luck!! Especially if Bellichick is offski to Giants Stadium in 12 months time. ;D I'll take our's thanks, HOME Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions ROAD Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings Looking fwd to the draft. Do we pick JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn. I go for Russell but either way we should have a quality QB. If we trade the pick I'll scream.

So much pent up rage against the Patriots, and all because of January 19th, 2002 ;D It was a fumble. The commentators knew it. The crowd knew it. Brady knew it. You only have to see his reaction as he realises the game is lost. No i haven't gotten over it.

Yes but hating the Patriots because of a decision made by Walt Coleman, is about as dumb as me (a Leafs' fan) blaiming the LA Kings for Kerry Fraser's outrageous gaff in the 1993 playoffs...

I actually supported them v the Rams. One of my best mates is a rabid Pats fan. Unbearable. That is why I don't like them. ;D

So the Colts win the Superbowl, to be honest it looked like they would as soon as it settled down. It's not the year for opening kick off return TD teams...Ohio State'd Ted Ginn Jr did the same in the College Championship game and we went on to get stuffed by Florida! An interesting website set up by Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith who are both Christians, interesting perspective on the game and the significance of faith, especially the video of Dungy on the morning of the game at the Superbowl breakfast. My lord, could they stretch the game out any longer? From what i saw, they play for two minutes, have a break. They then go out and play a few more minutes, constantly interrupted for breaks. They then have a two minute warning about a break coming up, and they have a break for that. Then two minutes later they have a longer break.
GET ON WITH IT!!!
It'd be a cracking game if they did.

Superbowl always has more frequent and longer breaks. When you're in Hooters you don't notice the breaks! ;D (Panthers players made it in after the Hull win)

Oh yeah, great game, great win and really chuffed for the Colts. Fans were split in Hooters.
RB's should have won joint MVP.
NFL - nothing comes close to it for consistent excellent entertainment. Roll on Sept. And 28/10 when I'll be at Wembley!!

I'll watch most sports but i found the Super bowl tough going. As newham said there was to many breaks and not enough flooooowww!!! overall its not put me off totally im sure ill watch some more games but i found very hard going. For all the crazy celebrating they do at during the game i must say i expected alot more OTT celebrating at the end.
Wish id have known about the hooters thing though sounded good. may make a note for next year.

I think the NHL and every football league in the world would have something to say about that last comment Sunny. Comparing the NHL to the NFL is like comparing Prem Soccer to Prem Rugby. Total difference is scale. Obviously you can argue about what sport is better to watch. Most would say soccer. But where it wins is that it is so competitive. 16 games to determine which 12 out of 32 will make the PO's. NHL and NBA have too many teams getting thru and so too many less important games at the end of the regular season. NFL is far better watched on a time delay so you can fast fwd the breaks. I wish the NFL would increase to 18 games played with a 2nd bye week. The season is too short. Any more games would be too much toll on the player's bodies. They also scrap the conferences. The best teams are in the AFC and the real Superbowl was Indy v Pats. As for Hooters: Got there at 10pm Beers Burger Curly fries Beers Waitresses Banter between fans Beers Buffalo wings And a billion tvs to watch the game!

However, you were saying that nothing comes close to the NFL for sheer excitement, which is wrong in my eyes. link I don't know of any league that consistently puts out exciting games and an exciting, unpredictable league. There was more drama in the first quarter of the Bowl than in weeks of Prem football. The Colts and Bears could both fail to make the PO's next season. That's the beauty of the NFL. The Saints were the 2nd worst team last season. This year they were a game from the Bowl. That's why this has happened: BBC
