I heard that Cory Morgan was stalling with the Vipers as he wants more money and is going to Nottingham. With the Vipers going to sign a former player. If it is cory morgan, then who goes - doubt it would be a d-man, so leaves, wally, Mac, Molin, bergin, or smeer. Guess if that is the case you guys would be following the steelers route of gassing enforcer. Unless Stancock is the one, and you stick with new guy, meyers, corey and peletier...

I thought Morgan had signed already with the Vipers and it was a done deal...?

Yes same here, he replaced Rublivsky I thought
If not then I'd guess at Stancok to go, but do we really need another RW anyway

With Stanny De-registered we can see how things go without him but if we gas him after the deadline we've left him screwed to find another club around here, Doubt Ellis would do that.

in local rag today. We sorted out ITC, paid for flight, and he said he loved the club. Now he said no, after rumours he wants more money. three days before deadline. He loves the club in the same way marc west did. Morgan is a centre

It would be wrong on you guys, but I would think he would do alright here....
Wonder how that would make Payette and the rest play when we play you guys next if we did get him.

The 2 year contract didn't mean tessier stayed for all that contract. Do we need to do this again? Y'know, I got so tired with typing out the explanation of why he did in-fact honour his contract in full, I now have it in Word, ready to be cut and pasted....

Bit silly to release stancock when no one has seen this other guy play??? Also it puts you down to 4 d men again

Stancock still has four games out to go. So there is those games to see what he is like....
It will either one of three ways IMHO,
1, We sign no one. Ellis de-registers when Stanny is fit and we go with 5 D men.
2, We sign Clarke. Ellis de-registers when Stanny is fit and we go with 5 D men.
3, We sign an import center (Morgan) and Ellis de-registers. Maybe Stanny or A.N.Other import will go dependant on performance.
I reckon 2 will be true and hope it is.

well he had an ITC so he had to have signed a contract to get that i would have thought. But you are right about wilson! If he signed a contract and Vipers hold his ITC, couldn't Vipers hold him to his 2 weeks notice and refuse to release his ITC till after the transfer deadline? He might think twice about pulling out then.
