Looking around a few names at the mo, I have found a few who could be the man... Ladislav Kouba - Seems to move around a fair bit though and doesn't seem very prolific, so I hope not. Ronald Petrovicky - Judging by his hockey DB stats, one Czech worth having in the team. Tonnes of NHL, AHL and SEL experience. Looks like a bit of a fighter too! Been looking around the AHL, ECHL forums and can't find much about players leaving. Anyone else have any joy?

I think if we'd waited about 2 months for Kouba we'd all be pretty angry but Petrovicky would go down as on of Panthers biggest ever stars. I'm sure he'll get any job in Sweden, Finland and if possibly Germany (though he'd be a massive star there too).

I'm getting a bit worried that we will not be able to bring in a player that is even near to the quality of Trevor Gallant or Dan Te$$ier in the time remaining.
It just seems that it's getting very close to the wire and there seems to be no-one even remotely on the horizon.

As I watched a couple of the othe clips, the one with Gratton on it. If you watch it you will see a certain #44 Mr Boynton.

Pertrovicky is ambitious to say the least lol. Would be great though.
I think it could well be someone in europe who will be released and we pick them up. Similar to Gallant. The problem is no one will release the player until the last minute so we either pick one or 2 players up in the last week of jan or they dont end up leaving so Ellis is playing a waiting game which could backfire

Don't think anybody believed that rumour anyway really. Nice to dream though, image what our team would have been if the rumours were true! Tessier, MacLean, Jinman, MacIssac, Petrovicky and Domi.

After tonight anything less than an NHLer isnt enough lol.

11 Days to sign a player... not looking good.
If they hadnt of set the deadline we could of just assumed that ellis was waiting till the playoffs but thats impossible now...
