Foremsky has signed at guildford, returns to peterboro tonight (sunday)- and i cant wait should be a cracker. Good EPL player, but doubt would make anything better than 3rd line on a top team in the EIHL - plus, all i hear in the news room is bad influence in the dressing room - had a full blown row with coach on the ice in middle of game last week, hence his sacking.

Just one interesting thing in the match report. Why was David commentating? Why is he not playing for his team or am i missing something? Could he be coming in?

He broke his ankle last week and is sidelined for at least 5 - 6 weeks. So has been waiting medical clearance to fly home and has been expected in Nottingham ever since. So no surprise.

I heard the new guy will definitely be here by next weekend, and is someone new to these shores.

Yep. Just to add my pool of knowlege and state the darn right obvious: It's not Tessier (well unless he gets sacked midweek) It's not Jinman It's not Campbell, neither D, D or P I'm pretty certain but not 100% it's not Thornton (The Basingstoke Thornton, not the NHLer) I could be wrong but I think the player we're bringing in played AHL last season.

Well, MacLean left ZSC Lions (Zurich) by mutual agreement on 5 November to return to Canada, so is on the lookout for an opening somewhere! Is it just a coincidence that we sacked PC the very next day? Salary could be the issue though, as I'm sure Zurich weren't paying him in Toblerone bars, and he was in the NHL just last season!

Lol I thought he was a commentator on NHL 07 to be honest, Don Maclean
Looking at the guys stats that would completely shock the league, but I just hope thats not the last change if we are going to bring him in

Heard last night ex NHLer will fly in next week intime to play in Manchester Donald MacLean would fit the bill, played 41 games, picking up 8 goals and 5 assists

Herd that Clarke may return for Playoffs if his Italian team don't make it. Not sure how that would work with ITC cards etc as he doesn't need one.

He could well be a free agent by the time we want him. A British free agent.

Just to add more speculation to the mix Last night i heard that PC's departure might not be the only one in the next few weeks i have heard this from a few people that two more may be on their way (these people are rarely wrong ) but i was just wondering if anyone else has heard this? or is it just a wild wrong rumour?

my mate went to ask ellis whilst the warm up was commencing. and ellis said that he played in the NHL last year. now im not naive enough to believe that just yet, but if the rumours are true of donald maclean then he could well be right
