Discussing this last night with a few people, & we are all suprised the 'Jinman' rumour hasn't been spouted forth again. I'd say it was more likely, & it'd be more welcome than Tessier.

Why do we want another guy to return? We've had 2 guys return who were touted as amazing, both by the club and a number of fans. One's been dropped because he underperformed (for whatever reason - I suspect too good for the league/not good enough teammates). The other (stancok) is not playing well and spends far too much time in the penalty box.

His long term aim was to return to Nottingham to end his career. I understand he's not too happy with life in Sierre at the moment, so there may be legs in this one?

Boynton has played here before and I reckon he'd be a pretty good replacement for one of our D right now!

Guess that's the chance you take. Before his first spell here, who knew Lee'd be any use? Plus this year we've experience of players coming back and not being quite what we remember. I wouldn't be disappointed if they announce him (or indeed Tess or Trevor etc), but I'd like to see a fresh face myself.

He certainly seems to have blossomed after leaving University! One minor problem may be the drop in salary he would have to take to come here - he's currently on $495,000 a year!!

People said the same about drouin and stancok and theyve been mediocre at best. the faith in players who were a few seasons ago scares me.

A top (and I mean top) AHL player? Anyway, he's under contract to the Sharks. But not at $495k. That's his NHL salary (if your figures are correct, the press release on his re-signing doesn't disclose details). His AHL salary would be around 1/8 of that (pure guess BTW). So, not too far fetched? But he's have to give up his NHL dream, and I don't see that happening. But I wouldn't say no.

Just to illustrate how much utter claptrap is talked on the pages of forums in general, under the guise of "I know someone who said it might be this bloke" etc, the Hockey News, a well respected hockey related publication in the USA and Canada, has also suggested, in its recent "Euro special" issue, that Mr Iggulden is due a move of clubs, from his current home in Worcester. To San Jose. Not Nottingham. Shame, really.

Jinner's name has cropped up twice in recent discussions with separate sources, so this one may again have some legs! The Jinman - Neilson connection is definitely there, having played together for 3 seasons (1993/4 - 1995/6) in the OHL with North Bay Centennials and the Detroit Whalers. Jinman followed Corey to Detroit - was that on Corey's recommendation, possibly? I believe Lee may have another year on his contract with Sierre in Switzerland, but they have a new Coach next season, and we all know what contracts are worth - don't we Tess? Well, I can dream, can't I?
