As Matt44 points out (as I was the one he was talking to) Ellis registering gives off the impression to me that there is no forward due in short term. There are couple of options that ME could be running (Not saying this is definitive, just the most key IMO) - Ellis has "Signed" a player who can't be here until Early Jan
- Ellis thinks he can do a better job at the back than the weakest link there, so will release them to bring in new forward.
- Ellis is waiting for a perfect player to become available, but this could be weeks not days.
- Ellis has done a deal to bring a huge, huge earner to the league from end of Jan. Trouble is needs all the money he can scrape together so is using the The difference between Drouin's wages and his (On Ice wages) to add to the kitty.

When I spoke to Tessier whe he first joined you, he said he very nearly joined Vipers as is good friends with Payette - which makes him even more hypoctritical, as did he not moan about the goonery in the league? Don't like him. Don't want him. You can keep him! Two Vipers players are probably heading for the gas chamber this week, which should free up a bit of cash, and Rob has also said he might not be bringing faces straight back in.

I have a gut feeling it still could be Tessier. We know from the Brummie Mouth Piece, that we certainly made enquiries about him. Added to what Matt, & Warren have said...whilst it's only speculation, it certainly adds some added thought to the idea it could be Dan.

and the added incentive that Dans first game after the xmas period would be against a certaion yorkshire team on the 29th Dec.
My bet is ellis will play up until the game against Coventry on Boxing day

These are the two to me which seem most likely

My bet is ellis will play up until the game against Coventry on Boxing day I wouldn't have thought that was likely. That would mean DT would be packing up & travelling over the Crimbo period. Think [glow=red,2,300]IF[/glow] it is him, he'd arrive after that, & sometime in the new year

So let me get this right - as some see it, were going to let the poisoned dwarf sit on his backside between now and Christmas knowing that he'll get a big fat cheque from Jan onwards when he feels ready to grace us with his presence.

I think it may be Gallant again , he could be released to play for us in January , Mike just taking his time , nobody out there worth signing as Tess thinks Santa more important than earning ? .so Mike decides to ice himself until January . Yes the more I think about it , IT LOOKS LIKE GALLANT will be back .

If it comes off, which, tbh, i see as very unlikely. He openly said in an English mag he would not come back to England this year. Christ he'd loose the little shred of credibility he had!

2 years in the NHL. Hardly "Many"
In which he only played a handful of games, once again, hardly "Many"

In which he only played a handful of games, once again, hardly "Many" But it is more than Rasto ever played, i would imagine that Tom would be bringing in more than Rasto was, but what do i know...... Would be really surprised if it would be Trevor, leaving the DEL part way through the season, dont think that he would be given the chance to return there if he did, as he would become known as a player who goes where the money is, and we all know what is said about them sort of players...... Wouldn't say no to Trevor coming back, but unlikely imho.
